Evan could see the gentleness in her movements, and hear the gentle tone to her voice. It made him smile happily, thinking he had done good. He liked it when he did good.. it meant he was a good boy. When the thought crossed his mind he shuddered, but still remained calm. " I am glad you are alright, and it was my pleasure to be here for you.. though your nurse was not too happy with me for a moment. She thought I caused the episode and nearly got security called.. I am so glad you have someone to watch your back if I am unable to. " Evan said, very relieved instead of being upset in the slightest. Evan looked as she touched the bandages, grimacing slightly as she did. " I should of found you sooner to help you.. " He mumbled to himself, regretting taking so long to find her.
Revilla laughed just a little bit.
"Amelia means well. She'd always been a good nurse to me." She smiled. A lot of thoughts were trying to go through her head, but when she looked at him they all just ceased. Just a happy, bubbly feeling was inside of her chest, instead of the gloomy and remorseful feeling that normally came after a episode.
She paused, and shook her head just a little bit. "If you'd come any earlier I don't think I'd forgive myself for letting you see me like that. I-I'm already upset you saw me break down so horribly..." She gave a sad and a bit of a shameful smile. Suddenly her mind changed thoughts to how he was doing. She sort of jumped up in realization of how hurt he was.
"B-But you're alright, right?! D-Did you get really hurt? Do I need to grab stuff for you to change your bandages? I-I should've listened to you when we were in the cafeteria..." Revilla got a little frazzled, and didn't really notice she couldn't go anywhere because of her IV. "Please be careful when you move, and don't force yourself.... I-I'm worried..."

He would be lying to himself he said he wasn't starting to believe all of this was connected. He had a hard time believing it was fur on that vent. He still wanted to check though, but he knew he probably shouldn't. He couldn't help it though as he slowly moved over to sit up on the edge of the bed. He stood up and stretched a bit before moving to the vent.

As he gets closer, it becomes obvious the fur is a tail.

Evan rolled his eyes a little and grumbled quietly to himself. " She looked at me like I was some kind of psychopathic monster. " His arms were crossed over his chest and he wore an expression that reminded one of an upset child being told they couldn't get a toy. Though, he reframed from it quickly and was left with just a subtle grin that was barely noticeable. His movements looked pained, and he had some bandages on his face making it hard for him to make any expression without it turning quickly into a deep grimace in pain. His head tilted upwards as he looked at the ceiling, seeming to be thinking for a moment before turning his attention to her when she spoke. He raised a brow, seeming to be curious for a moment but then more worried then that. " I don't mine Revilla.. it is okay that I saw you like that, you didn't mean to break down.. " Suddenly his entire face shifted from kind to almost evil looking. " Besides... I am absolutely sure that Chuck will never even dare look at you again after the number I gave him.. " He laughed hollowly, and soon looked completely normal again. When he again noticed she was worried about him, he gave a sad smile remembering just how bad his wounds were. He looked her in the eyes and said softly, " Well.. I probably will be bruised badly on my chest and stomach.. and sore for weeks.. but it was worth it to protect you. I am not too hurt, though they said anymore hits to the jaw and he might of broken it! " He said with a laugh as if it were nothing, just a game. " Don't worry about me too much. I don't need my bandages changed, and, to be honest with you, I don't really want you to see me without the shirt.. " He said with a playful smirk. " I kind of am suppose to be laying down so, I kind of am already forcing myself I guess. Don't worry about me though, I am used to being hurt like this. This, is nothing. " He said, talking as if it were a single scratch.

A... tail..? It settles in, a tail is attached to the vent. It explains the blood on the floor. The dog from last night might be dead. Its tail- It's just- He can't think straight. It's like he's gone blank. It's a lot for him to handle. Maybe even too much for him. Then the thought came to him out of nowhere like most of the others. Was he able to open the vent? What if a dead animal was in there? What if something worse was? What would do this? He seemed fine? Or was he really not?

The tail is black and puffy. The dog had been brown and shorthaired. So its not the dogs tail.

After confirming it wasn't the dog from last night he gently raised his hand and put it on the tail. He couldn't really see any blood, so maybe it was just sleeping. He hoped that was the insane truth. He held the tail and gently pulled it, seeing if it was detached or attached to its owner.

Something from inside the vent hisses. He cant really see it, but two yellow-orange orbs turn to stare at him.

Relief immediately washed over him and he let the tail go. "Sorry." He said to the animal while looking at its tail. "What were you doing in the vent?" He questioned to nobody really. That still left most of his questions blank. He also still hasn't had breakfast yet. That wasn't very important yet though.
