Yes. Kate's love for Sapphire was different than her love for D

Of course. Sapphire was just a sweet,innocent child that found a friendy love for everyone until she found out,or assumed,them naughty.Although she trusted Luke a little to much.

D was weary but kind at first meetings,if the person wasn't about to force feed her poison and metal barbs.And she'd found Kate as kind,and then she'd found out about love and that she felt it for Kate and would do anything and everything to keep loving her and harm all who harm Kate.

Only, neither of them knew who had hurt her once her parents were gone

And that was a situation,but at least D couldn't go around killing all who had broken her heart.
