Selkie was up in the crows nest for most of the morning while Kai wasnt letting Kaladin have a break. If Kaladin was still in the hammock Kai got under and stood up then jumped under it with enough forced to knock even Skipper out of the hammock. Kai snapped at Kaladins heels and demanded breakfast.
Douglas looked at the scene Kai was making and shook his head.

Kaladin rubbed his head. "Fine! I'm awake now!" He complained.
Locke walked up to Douglas and folded his arms with a sigh. "How long's this 'ere been goin' on fer?"

About ten minutes, Douglas remarked.
Kai walked over to him with a plate between her teeth.
Where did she get my plate, Douglas asked, it was gift.
Kai sneezed and dropped it, the plate shattering into a million pieces. Oops.
Douglas took a deep breath and walked out on deck.

Selkie was climbing down then saw Douglas and climbed back up.
When Douglas walked back in Kai hid behind Kaladin.
Did you want help training that dog, Douglas asked.

Douglas grabbed a rope from one of drawers, First lesson how to handle being to leashed.
Kai tried booting out the door only to have one of back legs caught by the rope.
We can do this the hard way or the easy way. Douglas took a step toward Kai.
How about the I bite you if you get close to me way, Kai growled.
Douglas made a loop at the end of the rope and slipped it over Kais head without getting bit even though she tried quiet hard to. Next he untied her foot and she sprang at him again. He handed the makeshift leash to Kaladin. Kai tried to spring at Douglas again only reach the end of the rope midleap.
Not this time. Douglas spoke, Next lesson showing the dog who is master, Kaladin youre up.
