Well for sure he wouldn't say anything about the terrifying mornings with his parents, and so he started with when you had to organize your gear and your locker to start the school part of the day. You could tell he was a nerd with how precise he was and how he never played in halls or anything of that sort. He said nothing of his avoidance of trouble when he could and he said nothing of how cornered he often got.

Electa listened intently, absorbing every word. When he finished, she was quiet for a minute, her expression thoughtful. "That all sounds so strange. I can't really imagine it--having to do homework and caring about what grade you get."

"Oh, it's easy to care when you realize it matters so much! So very much, really. And it's nice when you do good because you get to do other things as well, as I keep...kept my grades up, I did soccer..." He pulled at his metal bracelet yet again, remembering he wouldn't be able to make a future as he'd planned. Ever.

By then, they had arrived back in their room, and Electa went and sat on her bed, unsure of what to do to comfort him. She had noticed his slip up, having to change 'keep' to 'kept'. She wondered, if nobody had cared about him, what he was really missing.

Well, he didn't seem emotionally stable for himself and he had no idea why the girls from his home town would be idiots. He closed the door and simply went back to his corner and curled up ... again. He stared down, teal eyes sad. He kept holding onto that bracelet so often now, it's like he never really let go of it anymore.

Electa watched him, a slight tinge of...guilt? breaking through. She rolled her eyes at herself and turned her head away. It was his fault they were here in the first place. Well, actually, it wasn't, but she decided to blame him anyway because it was actually her fault for ever trusting the CIA in the first place.

He'd been able to block himself from reading her emotions at a wim so he didn't taste the guilt as he would have before, he just put his forehead to his knees and closed his eyes. He just wanted to sleep. It'd be better than living in the new world he now was in.

Electa turned on the TV, a soap opera coming on. She had no idea what it was.

His head lifted, he didn't watch Tv so nor did he. "Huh...one of those things ... uh... Mo-er...Mrs.Grace likes those." He said softly.
