The car jerked to a stop as he hit the breaks. He watched her, and wondered if she really meant it. "Yes, I do."

Brook looked to Shawn with an unreadable look, as he stopped the truck.
'He does... I-I don't want to hurt him if anything happens... I want him to be happy... '
"A-Are you happy to be with m-me?" Her eyes were starting to tear up a little.

His eyebrows pulled together in confusion as he noticed her eyes getting shiny. "Yeah, I am," he said gently, pulling her close. "What's wrong?"

'I don't want to make a mistake... I don't want to hurt anyone... anymore. But... I don't know the future...'
She puts her head on his chest gently.
"I-I love you too..." She closed her eyes, a few tears rolled down her face.

He gently wiped the tears away with his thumbs. He had no idea why she was being like this. Girls were so confusing.

'I don't want to lose you... not because of anyone or anything...'
She hugged him gently. His warmth felt comforting.
"I meant it..." She mumbled.

"So did I," he murmured, still holding her closely, glad that she had meant it

Brook pulled away from him and sat back in her seat.
"T-thank you..." She looked in front of her.

He nodded, slowly starting along the road again, not sure what to make of what just happened

Brook wasn't either... She just started to get in her own head and she broke down.
As time passed a little they came up to her driveway.
"It's the next one to the left..." She said calmly.
