Thunder booms in the distance and rain starts pouring down. You never realized it could rain that fast.
After quickly climbing into the tree house, you check for weak spots. There doesn't seems to be any. You walk across the floor boards, but you hear something. A small section in the middle of the floor sounds...hollow. You look closer at the hollow section and notice what looks like a hidden trapdoor.
Will you investigate?

You feel something shift underneath you. Then there's a loud crack and you fall back into the water. You had been standing on ice the entire time.

Yes, I will investigate the noise, it could be a Sylesti thats injured!

You place your backpack in the corner and then go back to the trap door. You carefully open it up. Inside there's a blanket, something appears to be squirming under it.

I lift the blanket up gently, I dont want to scare them more then they already are.

A Lighira hatchling hisses as you take the blanket off. It grabs the blanket from you and curls back up in it. He seems to be cold.

Another crack of thunder sounds and lightning flashes out side the treehouse. The Lighira hatchling yelps and runs out of the crawl space. He hides under your backpack, which you had left in the corner of the tree-house when you went to investigate the trapdoor.
