Jasper didn't seem to notice anyone there, he simply crawled onto a low hanging hammock that stretched the length of the back wall and grabbed a worn down book to read.

"Well, anyway, I apologize." She smiled but still acknowledged Li with a nod and smile. "I'm Mona- you are?" She preferred not to use her last name when introducing herself to others.

"What book is that?" Ophelia called out. She was not aware that she had neighbors. Her mother and father had a castle, but they spent many nights in the hunting cabin by the lake.

"T-that would be nice." He said finding his way to a seat. It hurt...this body it hurt all over. It-it was dying and he could do nothing to stop it. "I-could I get something to eat? Or to drink?"

Or not...sighing he turned from them seeing a rather familiar face among the crowd. With long strides he approached her. "Serinity...it's been a while since I saw you last." He said with a warm smile.

Jasper was so startled that he dropped the book, backing up against the wall, bits of the wood hooked against his shirt. He was still grinning but his eyes darted around until he concluded that he must've been imagining things.

"Oh right," Ophelia muttered to herself and knocked on the door. "Hi, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," she said.

"No, my mother is sick and couldn't attend, my father decided to stick by her side."
