Jaypaw sat down next to Burrshadow. His head hung, and his tail lay on the ground. "Burrshadow no! You can't die! Not now! Please!" Jaypaw whimpered, tears gathering at his eyes.
Flame walked over to Jaypaw and whispered in his ear. "Why do you cry? I thought you were tough." Jaypaw narrowed his eyes.
"I hate you." Jaypaw said, before tackling Flame. Flame let Jaypaw attack him, though Jaypaw had his claws sheathed. Flame took hit after hit as Jaypaw pawed him roughly. Eventually, Jaypaw slowed, and started crying. "I hate you." Jaypaw said again. {{I pinged Shayni because Ravenstar should know her deputy died and Jaypaw snuck out of camp.}}

SorrowPaw rushed up to them and pulled JayPaw off Flame. She wouldn't have JayPaw get in trouble. "It's okay JayPaw. She is with StarClan now, she is watching you, would she be happy that you go around attacking other cats, even if they are about as bright as a twoleg?"

Flame narrowed his eyes at Jaypaw, who growled, then stalked off to the apprentice den. He curled up in his nest, and tried and tried and failed to fall asleep.

SorrowPaw followed JayPaw. "JayPaw, do want to be alone?" she asked softly, she stayed a small distance away from him, a tiny bit of fear in her heart. What if he attacks me? Am I being annoying? she thought.
