Rockruff yelped, but he didn't seem badly hurt by the attack. "Rockruff Use Bite!" (Is bite a darkness type move? It been a while since I played pokemon on my ds.)

(It should be super effective if it's a darkness type move... we'll just say it missed)
Rockruff growled in frustration. "Use Quick Attack!" Ashley shouted. Rockruff slammed into Mimikyu in a fuzzy blur.
(quick attack should have no effect, being a normal type move)

Rockruff hesitated underground, and his attack was lowered, but came up behind Mimikyu... and grabbed him by the tail (which is a stick). He dragged him under.
