Orion glanced ahead toward Jora. He didn't really want to explain why he had been crying. "I guess I felt helpless," he said, and then loud enough so that Jora could hear, "Where are we going?"

"Five marshmallows," she said, thinking it was rather stupid because Alderic was the one bringing the marshmallows. She made a mental note to tell Alderic to change the stakes.

Kali nodded. She knew that feeling, not being able to do anything to help and if you tried it seemed to only make it worst. She patted his back reassuringly.

Jora stopped walking. "I don't know... Where are we going?" She asked back feeling like she was stupid and couldn't do anything right.

Mitch laughed a little. "Sorry, I actually think it makes sense for that to be the stake for him." He thought for a bit reaching for the right quote. "After all, 'a man chooses his own treasure. No mater what he has to do to get it.'"

Orion shot a greatful look at Kali. "Well it's too early to go to class, and - correct me if I'm wrong - but I don't think you want to go to the cafeteria. So we could go outside, or get food," he said, thinking out loud.

"One problem: there his marshmallows. I'll have to change it," Ember said, trying to keep talking. She had been talking so much in the last two days. It was really strange to her.

Jora shook her head. "It's never too earlier to go to class." She said a smile could be heard on her voice. "And I already said I wasn't hungry..." She said her smile disappear.

Mitchel laughed bending over a little. "Well, I guess you will." He said flashing her a smile. "So what's with all the talk about marshmallows?" He asked a slight laugh to his voice.

(Sorry brain just got fried... I just watched one of my fav characters in a show die after they tried to kill my absolute fav. D:)

"I suppose you're right, I just thought that the teachers might be on break still. Let's go to class then," said Orion, smiling. He turned to Kali. "Where are you going?" he asked her.

"Orion and Alderic got really excited about having a bonfire tonight, with marshmallows," Ember said, wondering if the others would mind if Mitchel came too. She doubted it. Orion and Alderic would probably say something like 'the more the merrier'.

(Ah geez, that's horrible! It's always the favorite characters that get killed.)

Kali shrugged with a smile and started writing. 'I should go find my sisters but they're probably still eating.' She showed Orion and saw that Jora was fairly further ahead of them. She started writing again. 'Why were you so upset when Jora ran again? I know your friends but you knew that I was going to help her.' She thought for a second then added. 'Jora won't be able to hear you with how far ahead she is. Just tell me.' She showed it slowly to Orion.

Jora felt pretty light headed from not eating all day but her stomach was still in knots and her throat wouldn't swallow anything. All the crying hadn't helped her either. She turned down the hall she remembered going down earlier and looked around trying to find where she was.

Mitch smiled. "Cool, do you guys have an idea where to have the bonfire? If you put it in the wrong place half the school might show up." He said thinking of how Ember hadn't seemed to like the cafeteria very much. He decided to add to his reasoning for her so that she wouldn't realize his path of thinking. "I doubt Alderic would have enough marshmallows for everyone."

(Yeah. Especially when you've been waiting the how show for the character to kiss a different one and they came so close two seconds before the other one died. And to add insult to injury, I have to wait until September to found out what happens next! D:)

Orion sighed. "I didn't know if you could calm her down, no offense. She's been through so much. I won't tell you what, that's her decision. But I've been trying to help her, but I only make it worse. I guess I was just frustrated. Sorry, it's not that simple," he said, trying to explain without making himself sound like a crybaby. He wondered what the kids would do to Jora when they returned to the village.

"I bet he would have enough," Ember said. Alderic seemed to be the kind of person who would have enough or find some way to get enough. "We didn't really talk about where to put it," she said, walking quietly for a bit before adding, "Do you want to come?" she asked.

(Oh my gosh, that's horrible! D: What show is this?!)

Kali crossed her arms. She felt a little offended that he had doubted her. She felt like he shouldn't judge people for different things. She flipped back a few pages in her note book to the ones she had shown Jora. She wrote under them. 'You think she's the only one?' She showed it to him her face blank.

Mitch smile trying not to laugh. "Well, I think in a nice grove of trees near the lake on the other side would work out rather nice." He said his voice laced with his unlaughed laughter. "I'd be honored to. I could even be a bit of fire control if you need it." He said Holding his hand, palm up. A small ice flame formed.

"No, I don't," Orion said softly. "She's not the only one," Orion said before reading the page. "I'm sorry. I had no idea. It's hard having parents who want you to be something you're not, huh?" he said. He knew she had it way worse than she did, but he felt like her could relate at least a little bit.

Ember smiled slightly. "Orion too, except with water," she said. Her gaze flicked around the halls, making sure no one was in them. She was relieved to see no one was there.

Kali nodded strongly. 'I couldn't sing like my mother so I wanted to be a fighter like my father. They don't believe in woman fighters...' She shrugged and pointed at the hall Jora went down raising her eyebrow.

Jora closed her eyes feeling a little dizzy. She swallowed a few times trying to calm down. She feels her hands shaking and bites her lip hard trying to focus.

Mitch was a little surprised. "Cool! I've never met anyone else who could do it." He smiled and tilted his head. "Why are you so nervous?"
