They head further inland. Theres not much land on the island, as most of it is the lake, but theres still a middle segment to the land.

Theres a path ground into the earth from how often its been walked. At the end of the path is a small pool filled with unusually pristine water.

he eyed it.

The first lorelei stares down at the water calmly. Shes got a jug of a sweet-smelling liquid by her side.

he watched.

She turns to face the girls, and ushers them forward. She then holds out the jug. * Drink; the transformation is quite painful without it. *

he watched.

The girls all take a few sips. A few shiver, as if its cold or minty, but none seem especially bothered by the liquid.
