Not purple,obviously that was D's thing,but her scales gave an idea of what they would look like. Just like D's purple-lavender and white scales showed hers would be purple. Her dangerous flame was white.

And so maybe Sapphire's fire would be blue, and her dangerous fire yellow?

Yeup,bulz eye. The fires are either a mix of their colors or segregated colors of their scale sections.
