Many people, actually. There was a group of people that had murdered her parents on purpose, set on killing everyone in the house. Luckily, Kate hadn't been in the house at the time, and so they thought they had got the job done until they found a picture in her room of her with her parents.

Yes. It was extremely hard to get to her with two dragons in the house, however.

Yep.And one dragon that would rip anyone open for her and the other that would nip at them to death. And fill their lungs with choking smoke.

Eventually.When she was six she'd get her harmless fire.Hers wouldn't be exactly like D's though.
