James nodded as they showed a picture of it.

they called it Kiryu, a Japanese word with the mix of Machine and Dragon.

Virgil says, "They're making a machine that looks like a dragon?"

James nodded, listening to them talk about it.

the news said, *its 60 meters tall, 120 meters long, and over 36,000 tons. it also has battle gear which weighs over 4,000 tons, and its armament includes an oral maser cannon (basically a mouth laser but can kill or even one-shot kaiju that arent Godzilla or his allies and opponents), dual laser cannons on each arm, and a flight pack that contains two forward firing rocket launchers and four batteries along its back and sides for launching guided missiles. Upon emptying its payload, the flight pack can detach from Kiryu's body and launched to push the enemy a safe distance back before being remotely detonated. The flight pack has been modified so that only the weapons pods were fired; leaving the thrusters attached and allowing Kiryu to maintain its aerial capabilities.

For close combat, a short blade can be extended from Kiryu's right wrist which is theorized to only be able to penetrate Godzilla's nearly impervious hide, but is also able to discharge a crippling electrical surge into his opponent's body. Kiryu's arsenal also allows its right hand to collapse into a revolving drill. however, it does have a 2 hour charge, and flying and fighting drains it, so the machine needs to be airlifted to the battlefield by two carrier craft. it can also charge on the go with electrical radio waves, but its not super effective for long-term.

Kiryu's most devastating weapon is the Absolute Zero Cannon. Stored in its chest behind a trio of folding panels, the Absolute Zero Cannon fired a ball of energy that flash froze its target, turning their temperature to Absolute Zero, or Zero Kelvin (which is -459.67 F and -273.15 C), thereby causing it to disintegrate under the weight of its own mass.*

then they said, *this machine was built around the skeleton of an Ancient Godzilla, likely killed centuries ago, or longer. its great for supporting the mass of the machine. its also remotely piloted by a jet named the White Heron, which contains guns to help support the robot kaiju. Kiryu also has a good AI, allowing it to fight on its own.*
