Scias managed to find Hexic collapsed down the hall, grabbing him and shielding him for dear life as he ran and things fell apart on him.
He was thankful for the armor that took most of the blow, making it out with large chunks of it missing and dripping black ooze over large parts of his body from the direct flames.
He collapsed a good distance away from the building, dropping Hexic on the ground.

The shake from the building made her fall onto the crystal slide. Once she landed, she turned back to see the building crumbling. Scias would find Hexic and make it out...right? She hadn't seen him run out but began to look for him

Scias was unconscious from overheating, his gills still trying to flare heat from him. He was collapsed outside the front of the hotel near Anya.
He looked worse for the wear, but he was clearly still alive judging off the sparking from his tail.
