"Yup and I can see all possible outcomes of the future. Of course it is not all sunshine and rainbows. Seeing all is hard and controlling what the outcome will be is impossible. But I can shape it," She smiled sheepishly as Candy bounced over to Siren, head butting her gently, careful not to hit her with her long horns.
Carter was still confused. One moment he was talking to Kris, the next he was plummeting to his death and the very next he was back where he started. He sat down for a moment as he tried to collect his thoughts.

He quickly came over, skidding to his knees right besides Carter and suddenly wrapping his arms around the guy. "I don't wanna do that again." He said quielty, meaning he didn't want to make Carter do that again.

"Do what?" He asked, still confused at what had happened, "I was here, then I was falling... now I'm back here?" He sounded mystified.
He let himself stay silent, weak, for a moment, trying to wrap his thoughts around what had happened. In his bones he knew he should be dead or still be falling. That thought made him shiver. He leaned against Kris, feeling suddenly oddly dizzy. Was that what love felt like? He realized he had no idea.

Kris's heart was pounding. "They....brought you back up here..."

"Magic," He whispered closing his eyes.
Hope had power over time, he realized. She knew how he would react, she knew his every move. She knew something, that's the only reason she would help them.
"That's right little mouse, she knows what will happen and is powerless to stop us," He opened his eyes and saw the... thing from before.
He froze, like a mouse caught in a cats claws. It moved forward and he found himself pushing away from Kris and scrambling backward, towards the cliff.
The thing hissed softly, "She saw your death, your doom," It turned to Kris, who it knew couldn't see it, "And your friends are powerless, they will watch you fall."
It swatted it's tail at Carter and he found himself falling, falling to his death.
He snapped his eyes open, he was right beside Kris, he was still hugging him. He started to tremble, hugging Kris and burying his face in Kris's shoulder.
"Is death all that awaits me," He whispered half to himself, half to Kris.

Kris was confused holding him tighter. "No, it can't be. I won't let it be, not as long as I'm around." He said softly, stroking his hair to try and stop his trembling.

(I'm kind of excited to see what candy and hope look like on your creature information drawing on the first post)

"oh right! we have a lake to freeze, do want a ride over there candy?"


(what does candy look like? I kind of imagine her as a light pink puffball with horns, and super small.)

(I should add them on (I have the drawings, just need to take a picture and send to myself), Pompani basically look like lizards with sheep/goat heads and are covered in soft wool like sheep. The color of the Pompani always match the owner's color, so Candy is light pink. She is pretty small, maybe 1 m tall?)

Carter seemed to calm down a bit, at least he stopped shaking.
"I... I saw the th-hing from before," He stuttered daring not to look up in case it decided to reappear.

Candy made a small noise, kinda sounding like a cross between a meaw and a bark. She nudged Siren towards the lake, as if she wanted to show Siren something. It's small lizard like tail starting wagging as she headed down to the lake.

Kris stiffened. He said nothing, he just seemed to get a bit more protective. "Next time that thing dares come around I'm ganna..." He started muttering what he was ganna do to it next time he saw it. They wheren't nice things.

"That seems a little dark," Carter says trying (and failing) to lighten up the mood, he hoped that he never saw the thing again and he hoped Kris never saw it again either.
He slowly got up, ignoring the look Hope gave him and he turned to watch Hayden. He was sitting in a tree, his golden powers glowing as it lit up the tree branches around him. Coins was sleeping still. Cobra was no where to be seen, probably invisible. Rose was still on Siren's head, though she jumped down and moved to TJ's head.
He felt helpless, like a bird with it's wings clipped. He wanted to fly but he couldn't. He wanted to move forward but he was stuck in his past. No family, no life.
"Too easy, really. I swear they said it would be a challenge," A voice, Lazi, spoke behind him, making him jump.
He turned around and feel fear flutter in his chest. This was it, his defeat... or was it? He backed away, almost falling backwards as his foot hit air, almost making him tumble backwards over the cliff.
