Ophelia sat at the edge of the lake, playing with the idea of going to the ball. She did get invited after all. Ballet dancing was a whole different game than ballroom dancing, but maybe it'd be fun. She stood up and headed towards the castle when she saw a wooden shack and a boy walking towards it. She quickly ducked behind a tree. She wished her hair wasn't such a bright white because it stood out like a sore thumb.

Serenity was dancing alone, the music slow and classical. She noticed more and more people arriving. SHe wondered where Prince Avery was, hopefully, he would show up soon. Erin and Alexander hadn't arrived yet and Rosalinda was nowhere to be found.
She recognized Ralof in the crowd and waved at him.

Jasper opened the door, the rusty hinges creaked with an earsplitting noise twice before all that remained were the noises of forest critters scattering. Inside, pictures of his father were nailed up on the walls, many with tears in them from the splintering old wood.

Ophelia ran out from behind the tree. She almost snuck past the house, but curiousity got the better of her and she peeked in. She felt rather ridiculous, dressed up in a white ballgown in the middle of the woods, but there was a dress code and she doubted she'd have a place to change once she got there.
