"Okie dokes!" She started walking to the river with her bow and arrow, often looking back and making sure Rem was behind her. "I like it better when we're together," she said with a grin. "I probably would be so clueless without you!"

At the river, she looked for a way to get across without dipping into the water. 'Are there rocks that I can just use to jump across?'

"but its better if i walk behind you because if there is any danger" he looks behind often "there is a way to cross" he turns into a hippo "ride on" he walks in the water.

Iist giggled at his hippo form. "That's a new one!" She climbed on, holding onto the reindeer they hunted from before. 'Must be silly, me in a reindeer costume riding a hippo...'

"this is not new, reindeer riding a hippo is new! your the first reindeer that rides a hippo"
you guys cross, puts you down, and turns back into a dog, and shakes. dropping the other reindeer
he turns back to normal. "now you are the prey ms. reindeer!" he looks at you giggling he picks up the real reindeer and walks in the forest

"I'll bet I am!" She laughed as she hopped off and waited for him to dry off and continue.

As they walked, she looked over at Rem curiously. "Did you have other friends in the forest before? Like human ones or shifter ones?"

"my only friends are the animals, they talk to me." he looked a little sad

"Ah...aw." Iist felt a little sad too. "Have you seen other towns or cities in Firoe? You could possibly shift into a different form and live among others that way." She remembered Rem's black-haired form, looking a bit different from his real one. If shifters had a way to shift into different humanoid appearances, then he could possibly disguise himself on a far corner of the land, away from the Xylans. "Though, you seem more like the type to be happy in the forest with animals, moreso than other people."

"when ever i shift, i have goat ears and tail. even if i shift into a human, last time i went to a village, they thought i was a monster chasing me away with knives and axes" he cheered himself up "atleast there is a werechicken! i see it!!" he tried taking another step slowly and collapsed on the floor, he have tripped on a stone

"Ohhh..." After spending so much time with him, she forgot that under his hoodie were the horns. "That...sucks."

She looked ahead at the werechickens. "Oh, they look like those?" she asked, never have seen a werechicken herself. She gasped when Rem collapsed. "Rem!" Iist crouched down and tried to pull Rem up by his arms. "You alright?"

"ah, i think i fell for the floor" he laughed painfully.
