Flare sighed. "Ash, no time for food, that wing needs to keep still." she said. She clicked her togue to get Ash out of her mind and into reality. "Ash, don't think about anything else but getting your wing healed." she said.

"ok . . ." Climbing back onto Flare's back, she gave a last look at the trail. Sighing, she put her wing in a more comfortable pose.

She had been awake already when she heard Uru ask Swordfern to wake her. She stood and stretched, bringing her chest close to the ground. With a flick of her ear, she padded towards her Alpha's den. "Yes, Uru?" She sat beside her.

Incendia woke, feeling the cooling space beside her.

She groaned, "If this goes as far as I think it will, I'm going to have to tie him up every night just to get some cuddling in before the rest of the pack wakes."

She hauled herself to her paws, yawning widely as she walked out.

"You know, Darling, it won't kill you if you stay in bed for just a while longer after waking," she teased Venom lightly.

Noal laid in his den next to Althea. He snored as he dreamed about having pups of his own.

Dango woke up and walked out seeing Dante. "Hey Dante, You woke up early." she stated. She stretched herself, and her wings went to full length, 3 1/2 ft. Her red hot paws melted everything around her, including hearts.(Not literally.) "So, what are you doing today?"

Uru smiled. "Ok, swordfern, go ahead and rest today."she said. She noticed Noal wasn't awake. "Watch this..." she whispered and silently padded toward Noal. "EHEM! Wakey wakey sunshine!" she said, into the echoing cave. She giggled.

Venom giggled. "Ah, it's habit." he said. He let his pack do their duties and slipped into his den, with Incendia. "I've been wanting to ask you something." he said.

Dante thought. "Well, Venom wants me to up some rankings. How would you like to be Lead Warrior?" he answered.

Flare kept going once Ash was on her back. Soon they were in the den area's and see took Ash directly to her den(Flare's) and gently set her down. She grabbed a few herbs, mashed them into a powder, and grabbed a bark cup.(cup made of tree bark) She put the herb power in the cup and let the cup fill with ice water dripping from icicles. Soon it was full. "Here drink this." she said, pushing the large cup toward Ash.

Sipping the drink until none was left, she laid on her back, a bit weirdly because her broken wing just wouldn't retract. She sniffed, and started drooling. "I smell squirrels, oh they smell so good . . . It's funny, how being in a ravine is so cruel. You see birds, squirrels, and even elk pass by. Yet it's all out of your reach, and you just stare and wonder about the taste, and how good the food is and how you just took it for granted when you had it . . ." She kept babbling, and it didn't take a genius to know that almost a month without food is a bit too much for even a wolf like Ashara. Her eyes took on a far away look, and she started talking about all the times she went out hunting. Eventually, she started to get sleepy. She started talking slower, until she just fully stopped. She fell asleep.

Swordfern nodded and trotted off.

Squirrel was on the trail of a mink.
