"it's no problem, i'm probably a bet weird too. i don't spend much time with anyone except the students in my law class" i smile. by now, we've both finished our food, and i'm beginning to feel a bit...weird. it's hard to describe, but i feel like something with me is different, but i can't quite put my finger on it.

i'm sure it's nothing, i'm probably just anxious about the light. that's it. i just need some rest and some time with my plants and everything will be ok again.

"Since we are done eating I'll pay the bill and u can head out if u want. I dont know if u have school tomorrow or not but u should go home and get some rest." I grab my wallet as I wait for the waiter to come back so I can pay.

"thank you, but i'd rather split the bill" i say, pulling out my debit card as well. it's not fair to make him pay for me when i was the one to suggest the place. the waiter comes and takes both our cards before he can protest, ending the debate.

"it was really nice talking to you and eating dinner, would you like to meet up later tomorrow?" i ask "i mean, i have school until about twelve tomorrow but i can have lunch with you at the park" i say, nervously.

"sure what time should I show up." I wag my tail happily as I stand up and fix my clothes. I smile blushing a little.

"uh, around one, probably" i say, thinking. yeah, i should be free around one, i'll have time to make something for us to eat and find a cute blanket for us to sit with, not to mention i'll have time to scope out a good place to sit before we even get there.

"Ok sounds good. I'll see u at 1." I hold the door for u. "I cant wait to see you again Ma'am. I like hanging out with you."

"thank you" i say, doing my best to suppress the blush spreading across my face. i step into my car, pulling away from the curb and heading towards my apartment.


when i reach my house, the first thing i do is kick off my shoes and flop on my bed. the plants above my bed remain still, so i fix my gaze on them. they're so calm, they don't have to worry about human problems. maybe i am projecting too much on a potted plant.

I walk home when I get there I change my clothes. I have on boxers and a jacket, I blush a little as I think abought what tomorrow will be like. I breath in deeply and slowly as I can still smell ur sent but its faint. I lay on the ground as I curl up in a ball holding my tail against my chest. I say to my self "I cant wait for tomorrow."

the next day, i put on my best white heels with the floral lace trimming that wraps around my ankle like a anklet and my flowiest white dress. with that done, i apply a layer of light pink lipstick.

i grab the basket of food - just some sandwiches, lemon bread and bottled lemonade- and my keys, hopping in my car and driving to the park. the blanket is already in the passengers seat, just a soft white one i grabbed on my way home from the college.

i get to my spot - an easy to find spot by the lake with plenty of wildflowers surrounding it. i quickly set out the food and drinks, clearing some sticks and leaves out of the way before sitting on the blanket.

I put on my nice cow boy hat, boots, belt, with ripped jeans and a button up shirt. I comb my hair, walk outside and picks flowers from my garden. I wrap them in yarn and put them in a vase of water. I grab my phone and walkout the door. I walk to the the park and I sneak up behind u. I hold the vase of flowers in front of u. "Hi Ma'am."
