In the beginning of Umber Forest, you find a less-travelled trail. As you begin down the growth-covered path, many small animals dart out of your way. You spot a young Nudibuck nuzzling at some grass, and it too darts away before you get too close. Inspecting the grass closer you spot a pile of Shimmering Pebbles! You pick them up, and are about to move on when a bright gleam in a bush catches your eye. You move aside some of the underbrush and come face-to-face with a very rare sight - a Big Gem! The shining surface glares at you, and you collect it. Not wanting to push your luck any further, you leave the forest and return home with your new treasures.

You return to your pet in the early evening, when the sun has only begun to set... to your surprise, it has grown far larger in seemingly no time!

You enter the Umber Forest, anticipation rising in your chest. As the canopy envelops the majority of the sunlight, the wail of an adult Nudibuck catches your ears. You follow the noise, but are only able to find the pebbles it left behind. As you continue attempting to track the creature, it suddenly dashes in front of you, startling you and dropping a small, smooth gem in the process. It dashes far out of sight, now unable to be seen. Giving up the chase, you finally decide to head back home.

You happily trot through the Umber Forest, seeking out as many pebbles as your eye can find. You only find a small handful, though you do come across a young water plant at the end of your trail. You pick off a leaf and return, rather put off by the lack of shiny objects.
