Barnabus thanks Orin and agrees to follow the conditions before he obeys the call to passive state.
Jackson nods, thinking about asking Ashia to shoot first just to see how well she is before he dismisses it and simply agrees to go first. He shoots his arrows, following the guide of only five arrows.
Jay watches the competition, mumbling to himself that Jackson had always done better under pressure of some sort and he can see it at work here.
(It's alright, spelling can be hard. I'll take whichever one you don't want.)

Orion flies over the contest seeing where Jackson had shot. There were five good shots good but not perfect. He'd seen Ashia shoot enough to know unless she was feeling horrid she could best that.
Ashia watches Jackson shoot noticing a slight flaw in his stance. Since it was so slight it wouldn't mess up his shot much but it still would affect him on the longer shots. When he was finishes Ashia stepped up to the line, took a deep breath, and shot in rapid fire five perfect arrows in the bullseye. The only reason she didn't robin hood was that she only had a limited number of arrows.
Justin shakes his head knowing Ashia was holding back slightly. He glances up at Orion before looking at the targets seeing the arrows.
(Do you want Olvan?)
Seth paces around Greenhaven. Curse his bad luck that he wasn't allowed to go after the thief because he had twisted his ankle. He could still walk just not very far without help. He was proud of his son and Chita his bondmate for stopping her that time but he still wanted a piece of the action after all he'd been tracking those thieves for over a decade now. He frowns looking up at the cieling a decade had it really been that long? He was sure of one thing though that the thieves from a decade ago weren't the ones that started hitting Greencloak strongholds less then two years ago but would they listen no. All they cared about was their precious nectar which was getting stolen. He knew if the Four Fallen hadn't returned this would be a top priority instead of being pushed back. Umm maybe if he asked Lenori or Olvan if he could go track them they would agree. All he would have to do is hide his injury. Closing his eyes he thnks about the thief from years ago and the red haired girl they had caught this time. Both had foxes, both had red hair, both from Eura, and both were skilled thieves. It was a long shot but maybe they were related somehow. The thiefs had started after a Greencloak had brought in a boy with his fox spirit animal with a troubled bond but after a couple of decades he disappeared and no knew what happened to him though all had their own theories. Towards the end though the two had become friends until he had caught the young man stealing the nectar. He had explained that the nectar was for people who wouldn't normally get it because it was so rare. Seth clentched his jaw and remembed how he had let them go. Towards the end the young man had disappeared more and for slightly longer from the Greencloaks never offering an explaination on where he had disappeared to and even though Seth and Buddy had tried to track him the youth was too good at covering his trail.

Jay hadn't had to judge an archery competition before, but he had seen a few. He knew the basics of shooting a bow and had to admire Ashia's technique.
Jackson watches Ashia shoot and compliments her on her talent when she finishes firing her five arrows. He had already had a thought that his competitor is good, but now he knows she is even better than he had thought she is before. Thank goodness this competition is just friendly and nothing's on the line. He double checks to make sure that no one else is shooting any arrows before heading to retrieve the arrows.
(Sure. Sorry for taking forever to respond and not writing much.)

(It's okay)
Getting up Seth ventures out of his room to find Olvan. Though to his credit he kept Buddy in passive state to ensure nothing involving the ill tempered bloodhounded happened this time.
Ashia smiles faintly thanking Jackson. She noticed his skills and knew that archery was going to be one thing they praticed in the future. Very rarely did she shoot on an archery range for anything aside from pratice. Though this was still one of her better days.

Olvan is fairly easy to find. He hears Seth come up to him and he ends the conversation he was having with another Greencloak to turn and address Seth. Olvan smiles after a short sigh, "How may I help you?"
Sparky runs up to Jackson to shower him with praise and make up for the lack of congratulations. He chatters beside him, slipping his hand inside Jackson's as he encourages his caretaker and cheers him on. Jackson finds himself smiling at the child's sure energy, taking his hand back when it's his turn to shoot once more.

"I need permission to after the nectar thief," Seth answers him keeping Buddy in passive state. From his body language alone he would go after the thief either way, "Olvan things will get worse unless we stop them and you have to deal with finding the Four Fallen so let me take this off your plate please."
Ashia shoots without a word knowing she needed to focus. She was impressed about Sparky's energy though maybe if he harnessed ot he would become someone great.

Olvan rubbed his chin as he thought about it. He really didn't want to send Seth off after the nectar thief, but he could tell he wouldn't be able to do much to keep Seth from going. Seth did have a few points, and perhaps Olvan could stand to send him off just for a little while. After what seemed to be a long moment, he sighed and nods his head once, "Alright. You can go after the nectar thief. Stay safe." He may need Seth for something else later.
Jackson shoots soon after Ashia does. He tries his best, and that's all he can do. During the competition, Jay can't help but be glad that he's not the archers' target; their aim's deadly, and their shot true more often than not.

Seth nods once, "Thank you I have a hunch where to start looking." Glancing at his cloak Seth thinks for a second before leaving Olvan's office. He knew from Olvan's expression he wasn't happy but then again when two immovable forces face each other one tends to give, they compromise, or fight until they can't.
Ashia's arrows hit true to the center of the target. As if sensing what Jay is thinking Justin whispers to him, "The only human targets that she would kill are conquorers or anyone that tries to harm us."

Jay jumps when Justin whispers to him and his shoulders raise as he tenses in surprise. He watches him for a moment before a smile of confusion and hesitantion appears. He whispers back, "I didn't voice my fears out loud, did I? I wouldn't be surprised if I had. Thanks for letting me know, though. It puts me more at ease." Jay smiles at Justin again, and this time it is a genuinely good natured and chipper smile. By this time, Jackson's taken his shot, which is a bit less than perfect, but it's still there and noteworthy.
