Yay, Krin pinned the thread!

I have bunch of hobbies. I quite like reading and drawing and sometimes I write for fun. I've always wanted to try woodcarving but I never find the time or right materials. (Also, my brother would be jealous I could do something cool that he can't.)

Neat, grats! Hope you're able to maintain it for the months to come! ^^

Ooh, you should totally try out woodcarving anyway LOL, sounds fun. And if not woodcarving, maybe something else like clay or paper figures.

Paper figures? As in origami?

Another slightly random question: Are you more of a 'bookworm' or a crafty person?

More like paper mach. o: Making structures out of paper.

I'd say a little of both but not completely one or another aha. I like reading small things online instead of books, and I never completely got into crafty hobbies, I'm constantly exploring them little by little.

That sounds interesting! I've seen lots of cool dragon mache sculptures online.

Do you have a favourite book series?

I've seen a lot of cool clay dragons myself, but it's been awhile since I've tried my hand at it lol.

I haven't read books in awhile, but lemme think. These are the only notable books I read, though I don't read a lot.

1. Elementary school: Dragon of Lonely Island, I read it once and I I think a 2nd book was published but I never bought it.
2. Middle school: Pendragon, it came recommended with cool worldbuilding, finished it in high school when the final book came out.
3. High school: there was this young adult book about witches and magic that a friend lended me but I forget the name lol. Turns out there's a lot of books in that genre I suppose.
I also read the Divergent series since my sister gave it as an Xmas gift. Was a decent read as a set.

Now I just read manga online, which I guess is a series in its own way lol.

How about you?

Oh my goodness they're so pretty! There's a person on DeviantArt who makes the BEST clay dragons. Her username's Howmanydragons (if I remember correctly)

I don't think I've read any of those books. Normally, I just reread all the books in the Inheritance Cycle like, a billion times.

Ooh, what's your favorite design by them? o: I never heard of em before either I think.

I don't think I've heard of the Inheritance Cycle either, what's it about?

She's made nearly 1,000 so it's quite hard to choose. A couple of my favourites are these:

The Inheritance Cycle is a 4-book series by Christopher Paolini. It's about dragons and elves and magic and wars and really cool stuff.

Awww, the eyes look like little sequin beads but the bodies are so well done! Those are goals lol

I see! Sounds like a mix of Eragon and LOTR. Maybe one day I'll read into it if I get an opportunity.
