Boreal sat down with a harumph waiting to see what the scientist would do with her. She was really hungry now and just a bit shakey but would probably be okay.

She looked over at Doc, "I saw what you did there with the guards, telling them to get me some food. Thank you I really appreciate it." She chirped.

Elise got out a simple puzzle
All you had to do was move it so that a little metal ball would fall in a hole on the other side

"We'd lose our funding if we just let the guards have their way all the time. There's some dangerous sort around here, sure, but the forces around here are a little rougher than I'd like. Last thing we need around here is our clients backing off due to you all being dead or broken." He squeaked under his breath with a barely noticeable tinge of melancholy in his voice. Of course, he was one of the so-called broken ones. Something he had never quite lived down.

Boreal observed for a bit before acting. Seeing the small metal ball and the hole she simply pushed the little ball into the hole, making a clink sound as it landed. She looked up at the scientist who had given her the puzzle, her look saying something along the lines of, "Really? Is this all you have for me?"

She looked over to Doc and chittered, "Makes sense. Can't sell dead stuff now can you?"

"Well, there's sure some around here that's argue you could. I'll let you make of that what you will."
Doc stepped out for a minute and went to a small mini-fridge in one of the side offices, retrieving a small container of blueberries and some cups from his own stash. He held them out to the leopard for a moment before setting up another test in the lab, loading the underside of one of the cups with a handful on the floor before shuffling them around quickly. He took a step back, letting her investigate first.

Elise grabs a small piece of deer meat from a jar she had and tossed it to Boreal
Then she got more difficult puzzle
Same concept, but this time, the ball was in a small maze

Jishii nearly tripped over her own feet, her body already growing tired. She was underweight and malnourished, her body was only able to run because of her enhanced limbs and adrenaline. She coughed and hacked a little into her elbow, speckled bits of blood already coming from her lungs. She was ill, she had overheard it from the scientists. Her immune system was failing her.

Still, she tried to persist, dodging obstacles in the hallway. She only had mere minutes before the place would go on lockdown. This place was a maze though, she she found her head was spinning trying to figure it out.

Blueberries! Boreal sniffed around for a bit before knocking over one of the cups. She ate what was in there fairly quickly. It wasn't much but it was still food. Then the other scientist gave her a hunk of meat and that disappeared too.

Another test was set up for her. This time a ball in a maze. The maze was short but she had never seen this sort of thing before and had a bit of trouble solving it. Getting frustrated when the ball went too far or missed where it had to go entirely. Sure she could grasp things but she wasn't adept at it.

Eventually, she got the ball into the hole. When it went in she plunked the glass-topped puzzle onto the ground and gave out a dissatisfied grunt.

(Might have to get off soon. If I suddenly stop responding that is why.)

The hallways lights start to flash red, a mechanical door in front of you closing. The guards you pass are yelling and shooting stuff at you, or trying to grab you as you pass by.

She gets some more meat for Boreal
Then writes something down on the clipboard
She gets another puzzle
Same concept, but this one is a big swirl, with a hole in the center
