Basically, you travel around with your partner. You and said partner hunt creatures- the catch is, you hate each other, and the creatures you catch/kill are extremely dangerous.
The creatures are anything you can possibly imagine in the most dangerous ways.
Eventually the two Monster hunters bond over time.

A writing prompt I found:
Could be modified... when certain people die, they're chosen to become Reapers, who go among the world of the living and decide when it's each person's time to die. But suddenly, they find they're no longer able to take lives, and several Reapers have to reveal themselves to the Living to work with them to figure out what - or who - is keeping Death away.
