I sigh and looked away my eyes still and angry purple "sorry..." I say and sit back down my skin crawling.

"Trust me, I'm as worried as you are." Trace sighs.

Rei suddenly shifts, clawing at the scientists without making a sound, the scientists don't have enough time to cry out.

I pat next to myself and look at Trace and pull my knees to my chest.

The three trot back a few moments later, all perfectly at ease. Rei ignores the two, trotting straight inside. Cole follows his lead but Clare hesitates, looking at the two in confusion before shaking her head and trotting inside.

I sigh and put my head on my knees "I screwed up..." I mutter.

"Clare thinks we are together." He states, looking at the door the three went in.

"Were not though..." I growled "I should have left with Landon and none of this would have happened I shouldn't have even talked Rei" I snarled and stood shifting and booked it into woods my white form melting into the shadows

Trace follows her, "No you shouldn't have, or else you wouldn't have gotten close with Clare, or me. You wouldn't have gotten two new friends that already care about you deeply. Rei is just... heartbroken, he gave everything to her and she threw him and her kids out like garbage. You have to understand this is not your fault. He just needs time, stay here. Please, if not for me then for yourself. Give him time to calm down, he'll find his feelings for you soon."

I freeze and turn and shift Trace couldnt stop fast enough and ran into me I stayed standing and I looked at him.

He rubs his head, "Oof."
