Ea shook her head. "You need to sleep, I don't." Because of her demon heritage, Ea never needed to sleep, it was just that the coming of night made teleportations to the plane of her Patron more likely. But, Ea didn't say that, hoping that Daniel would just let her take the night watch. "Plus, I have nightvision." she said, trying to reassure him. It was true, Ea had nightvision, just a very limited form of it. Ea also wanted to take a look at the tree with the spiky branches again, something didn't seem right about those.

Daniel nodded. "Okay then. But wake me up if there's anything." He joined the group by the still-smoldering pile of sticks. He winced as he unwrapped his bitten hand and rewrapped it. There was no extra water for him to wash it with and he really hoped it didn't get infected. If it did he would die. He laid down on the ground and shifted around, trying to get less uncomfortable. It wasn't long before he was asleep, the events of the day had taken a lot out of him.

Ea looked around the general camp area, trying to spot anything with her limited dark vision. It was quite hard, her dark vision only went out about sixty feet, not close to making her feel comfortable. Ea went back over to the tree from which she had gotten the spiky branch and went around it. Nothing seemed out of place, but that just made her more suspicious. Ea did not know why it happened, but she would always get suspicious of things that seemed the least suspicious. Ea settled down on a rock and waited until morning.

(Cool.)
He woke with a start. Gray light was seeping through the trees. Dawn? Already? He sat up, wincing and shifting his weight off his injured hand. The others were all still asleep. What about the tiefling? He stood up, swaying a bit as he yawned. His back hurt. Felt like a rock had been under him all night. He glimpsed movent through the trees, and took a step towards it. "Hello?" he said, trying to see it again.

Ea turned to where the voice was coming from, afraid it was the voice. Instead she saw Daniel, breathing a sigh of relief, she walked up to him. It seemed as if he hadn't slept very well, but Ea barely knew what that felt like. "There was nothing around here in the night, which is surprising, but comforting." Ea looked back to the rest of the group. "We need to find more food, I doubt we're going to be able to find another Keep very soon." Ea was beginning to lose hope that they would ever find another Keep. It could've been that the Keep they were living in was the last one, and all of the others had long ago been overtaken by the undead.

Daniel nodded. "At least the food part. The wargs won't last forever. But we're bound to come across something eventually. There've got to be more people than just us." He looked back at the others. If they only knew where another Keep was, one without the undead ravaging it. As the sun started peeking through the trees, he roused everyone. "We've got to keep moving," he told them, "the undead will find us if we stay too long." He picked up his bag, still mostly full, and checked his bitten hand. It looked mostly the same as the day before, only with dried blood smeared over his hand and not wet blood. It hurt plenty, too, but he rewrapped it tight. The group set off, Daniel keeping as straight a path he could.

Ea looked around the forest, spying for any undead, or maybe more wargs to kill and get meat from. She did not want to harvest meat off of the undead, it would probably give them food poisoning. *Maybe we could look around for some berries or mushrooms.* Ea suggested, already spying around for any kind of edible things.

Daniel nodded and looked around, a bit confused. He couldn't tell one shrub from the next. "What if we accidentally get poison berries though? I can't tell which bush is which." If he were completely honest with himself, he was afraid of dying of poison plants. Meat was easy to tell if it was good or not. Plants were a whole other world. You had mushrooms, there were poison mushrooms that looked good, there were berries that looked fine, and most leaves were green but half of them would kill you. He saw some dark purplish berries and motioned to them. "What are those? Are they edible?"
