"Amie?" Aki shouted around the same time as Mira, his voice much louder than what it usually was like. He hurried after the others down the steps, trying to go as fast as he possible could. His shuriken were in his hands but he only had three.

Melody jumped out of his futon upon hearing the yell, "What? Amie are you ok?" He yelled sprinting after Mira, down the steps in his nighttime pajamas. He didn't want to think any bad thoughts but when he heard her shriek he starts to speculate grim ideas. His heart clenched at the idea of it. All he had was a kunai which he grabbed at the spur of the moment, being the last kid to reach the bottom of the flight of steps.

Drops of blood dripped on the floor as Amie stood over a broken shelf, shattered glass from picture frames scattered on the floor. "Oh, good morning guys, I didn't mean to worry you, I guess this shelf lost a screw and fell... oh, it's such a shame though, all the pictures broke, now I'll have to buy new frames and glass... or... ugh... I can't afford everything I want, can I?" Amie reassured the kids before murmuring to herself.
"AmieIwassoscaredIthoughtyougothurt" Mira squaked running over and hugging Amie, who hugged back with her clean arm.
"Don't worry, Mira, I'm fine, this is no time to worry about me, you have to eat your breakfast before it gets cold, I'll clean up here while you're gone" Amie said to the group, motioning carefully with her bleeding arm to the individual breakfasts she made for everyone
Mira let go, hopping over to where breakfast was and sitting down at the middle seat. "So guys, who wants to help me brush my hair today" Mira said to everyone, somewhat joking, but also wanting help brushing her long hair, as she didn't like tying it up before getting all the knots out

Melody navigated through the broken glass to reach Amie and quickly hugged her. He was glad that is wasn't very bad. He obeyed Amie and sat at the table next to Mira. Taking the seat to her right, he hunched over to put 2 fried eggs onto his plate with a cup of water.
"I guess I could help," Melody said to Mira, as he noticed that Mira likes to tie her hair up without any knots.
