"He is right. As for any village being too corrupt there is no such thing. So far everything outside of a ten mile radius from the portal is still able to be saved. The shadows outside the area are much weaker than the others. They can't be in the sun for long, and are very leery of showing themselves. For now we should be fine to recruit those villages around us. War isn't won in a day, we will have to fight for every moment in order to win." He took a breath himself, the wound on his back aching. "Yet even the most evil person will see the light in the end. Yes some might be too far gone in this life but we all end up in the same place when our time comes. If you do not live for yourself now then you won't get another chance. But enough of that, I'm not looking for an argument. Please can we all just put our differences aside for the moment?"

Amicus watched Ash for a long moment. When she asked about him fighting with knives, he flicked his wrists and two silver daggers slid into his hands. "I have to defend myself somehow when I don't have time to cast a spell nor have the strength." He then nodded and smiled when Taz agreed with him. He hid his daggers once more up his sleeves before placing his hands on his hips. "So I suggest you start having some brighter insight on things, or none of the people we save will like you. They need to hear things of hope and light, not that we haven't got the time to do the things needed to win."

(Ash is fairly estranged to the was of a mage, she is totally convinced that magic is their everything. She aslo is convinced that people are pure evil.)

"Good news, I don't expect people to like me! I believe what they do not want to. I look at the darkness and accept that its that it is there, while you my friend, try to make it leave. I will respect your hope for a better world, if you respect my realization of our dark reality."

"But you miss the picture the both of you. Our world is but shades of grey, seen in neither dark or light." Taz said before making his way from the the tent out into the more open air. The sky was still dark, and the rain seemed to still fall. Ever since the portal opened it had been dark and rainy. Yet no matter how much water fell the plants seemed to wilt and die. It still made puddles and such but it seemed as if the plants and animals were dying from a lack of water. He pulled his robes tighter about him as he made his way towards the mess hall for breakfast. "I do hope all of you plan on joining me..."

Ash hopped up and dug through her pouch that she kept on her side in search of her knife. She found it and put it in her sleeve. "I could eat." she said walking out side to look around for a bit then heading to the meal area.

Amicus stood to his full height, which was surprisingly not that tall. He gave a small smile to the other mage before pushing out of the tent. "I am rather famished," he replied as he walked. He started coughing again and he doubled over, the fit was pretty bad. He covered his mouth with his hand as he hacked and gasped for air.

He turned at the sound of the man coughing. It just sounded as if it hurt.... As the fit went on he slowly made his way over to the man. Gently he place he good hand on the man's shoulder trying to be supportive, as well as be there if he needed a quick healing....

Basicaly everyone was in the tent planning the trip. Ash and amicus got into a fight about dark and light. Ash was seeing the glass half empty and amicus saw it half full. I forget Hawkeye characters name, but he broke up the fight by telling everyone to come eat. Our xharachters are headed there now.
