She followed, marveling at everything around but trying to hide her reaction. She hoped the Prince would like her enough to keep her around for a bit more than ten eliminations- she needed the money. She knew he would never like her enough to marry her though.

She hadn't heard the Prince come in, and was still adjusting the dark blue dress she wore. She was too scared to meet him since it was going to happen now- she feared what would happen if he hated her.

He smiled warmly and welcomed them all. "Welcome to the castle. As you all know, I am looking for a wife." He lowered his voice. "To be honest, I didn't really want to do this, but it's tradition apparently, so..." He cleared his throat. "Anyway, your rooms are accustomed to your likes and needs. After a few hours to let you all settle, we will have dinner."

Her head snapped up at his voice, and she watched his expression, curious. "Why don't you want to get married?" She blurted, then put a hand over her mouth as she realized she probably shouldn't have spoken. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
