The dog was bigger than both Velos and Leo, and quickly flashed past you. He had his sights set on the bigger prey, or maybe wanted to defeat the fighter first. Leo looked behind himself, and saw the dog, quickly gaining on him. He let out a yowl, then turned and ran towards a large building, then began running up the wall like it was a tree.

Velos sighed, that was annoying. He wondered if the dog could climb, he definitely couldn't. he decided to try and run back into where the mist was and take sharp turns to close the dog, or go where it could not squeeze.

The dog only bothered with Leo, barking at him. "Oh, hush up you stardust mutt." Leo growled. Now that wasn't something you hear everyday. {In this universe, stardust is another word for leap, but can also be used for the word Blya. Blya is Russian.} Leo looked back at you, then disappeared as he climbed onto the roof of the building.

((Hmm, okay))
Velos kept on looking for a place to run, trying to stay near the buildings side. If he was thinking correctly, the cat would be trying to follow him, as long as the gaps between the buildings weren't too large.

Most all the buildings were close together, but a couple were separated by a smaller building, or alleys and stuff. Slowly, the fog began to clear up, but it took a bit, and it was still a little cold afterwards.

He looked behind him to see if the dog was lost, then trotted into an alleyway, tail dragging behind him, flicking as he lowered his head

Nobody was there, except for a small blue and grey bird. The bird let out a squeak, and flew up onto the roof of a building. Trash littered the alley, along with a newspaper. Is the world ending? Find out on the next page! it said.

Velos nosed the page to see if he could flip it over to the next one and see what it read. He wondered what kind of unbelievable story had been made up or if he would find something important out. He half hoped the bird was a friend of the cats, it had flown up to where the cat was. He doubted the tale cats always landed on their feet. Even if.. what was his name? Leo did, would he break something at the height? Velos pondered these things carefully.

The next page talked about how the power had gone out in most big cities, and about how the ocean tides were acting up. This caused much panic with the humans, especially when hundreds of people began dying overnight due to unsolved causes. The weirdest part? The animals around Phosphorus began to get random mutations. The animals in the city may have too, but nobody knows as everyone who went in never came out. Some believe this is the cause of aliens, others think it's the end of the world.
If anyone was to fall from the roof, they could break a minor bone, but if they fell in a somewhat practiced way, and landed on their paws, the worst they could get was a sprain.

Velos read this, partially shocked. He then blinked calmly. Alien, huh? It most certainly didn't seem like the world had ended. it was all dangerous and win or die, but it hadn't ended. Not yet, or maybe it had for the species that'd written this. That was a good point, how could he read? He blatantly considered it for a bit, but then just took it for granted. He was sure it'd come in sure. he then looked up at the sky for the bird or the cat. he couldn't climb himself.
