Maia was startled for a few second. She was still thinking about how weird this place was, and how weird the inhabitants of the settlements had reacted.
She saw a boy who looked little bit younger than her, and was wearing normal clothes, and did not have the same hair and the same eyes the people from the town had. He did not glare at her like these people did, but was rather looking at her as if he was happy to see a normal human being.
