"Puny mortals, have you no fear? It would be so much easier to pick you off one by one as you made a vain attempt to run from me!" The she dragon purred before making another round over the city, this time with straight fire. Geralt reached out, taking the girl with the simmering silver outline. "Are you alright?" He asked before looking over his shoulder. "There's no time to explain, I just need you to trust me long enough to get you from the city alright?"

She turned her face, her calm gaze meeting his. She saw his eyes and her expression faltered, but she nodded and whispered: "Okay."

Nehele looked up from his lunch, hearing a massive ruckus in the town on the other side of the hills. His white eyes flickered around wildly, as he packed his things quickly, but the knuckle dusters on his waist, ten teeth on each. The Hawai'ian scampered to the edges of the town. From a natural ditch he saw the panic. Then he looked up and saw the dragon. "Oh mother, help me now." Always, he believed in the spirits, the gods and goddesses of his island, but he did not expect the ground to lurch the way it did, sending him speeding in a surprised roll into an alley, where he gained his bearings, scrambling up a roof. "Ugh, I need a nice big rock." He felt around for one, finding a decent sized one and chucking it at the beast, leaping back down the other side of the building, unhurt. "What in the name of...." Then a wall crumbled, debris smashing into him with the weight of a thousand birds, scratching his arms and legs, despite being hidden in the itchy cotton cloak. Nehele's head hit the ground. "Am I dying?" Running his freed hand through his hair, he felt the warm stickiness of blood. "Oh....."

Seeing why not to listen to the man Hato dashed into the town square and into the store where he saw the man go into before. "Are you ok" he asks as he tries to help her up. "We need to get out of here now!"

M.. my pets.... I... I dont wanna leave them! she said. She was still holding the kitten in her hands and crying.

"Come on then." The man said pushing for fowarded. Now where did the others go? To his right he faintly saw the outline of one of the last children. "This way!" He said pulling the girl to the side. As they reached the boy though the female dragon let out another firey blast. "Help him, I'll take care of her." Geralt said to the girl while pointing to Nehele. With that he drew back his cloak, letting it fall to the side before letting the smoke engulf him again. Snarling the red drake jumped into the air, jaw clamping shut around the end of the female's tail. With a jerk of his head he sent her crashing to the ground, amongst the ruble of a building. If he could do anything it was protect the children even if it cost him his life.

"Then let's do something to get the dragon away from here. Unless you want your animals to get hurt by the dragon." Hato offered. Hato opens his mouth but no noise came out before closing them. He just used his powers echo location. Now he knows how the town square is like. "Let's hurry and find the others" Hato says in his gentle tone as he rushes outside. He notice that the man is now in his true form fight the other dragon. He sees a silver eyes girl rushes to a pile of broken stone. Hato looked back into the shop before saying it again, "Come on we need to get out of here." he rushes back to help the shop owner by picking up some of the animal that stayed behind. "Weird, they should be scared but why are they like surrounding her?" he thought

"Help him?" Jatara sputtered, but she got back to her feet out of the crouch she had previously been in. She turned, then spotted the young man he had pointed to. As she made her way to him she couldn't help but watch the battle in the sky- the red drake, it couldn't be... was that the man? She was distracted again and shook her head.

She hurried to the spot where he was, trapped under some of the debris. Jatara crouched beside him and tried to lift the blocks of broken stone and planks of wood away. "Are you okay?" Slowly she reached out and touched his head the same place he had, feeling... blood. "Apparently not..." she murmured, then tried to push more blocks out of the way.

He stared at her with his white eyes. "That's it, I'm dead. Why did the man turn into a dragon?" Nehele blinked. "I know you. I don't know you. But you're familiar. Your eyes...."

"My eyes?" Jatara scoffed as she wrapped her arm around him to pull him up. "Have you ever bothered to look at your own? And... you're not dead. As for the man turning into a dragon, I don't know- I am only listening to what he says because that will keep me from dying right now." She couldn't carry him so she sighed. "Can you try to get to your feet, it would really help?!"
