(Anira - The winged ice wolf)
My eyes fluttered open as the warmth of sunlight hit my face. During the cold rain storm I had sought shelter within a hollowed out tree. "I must have fallen asleep." A yawn escaped in a huff of breath as I thought about whether going back to sleep or getting up. That's when I began to become aware of a pressure on top of my tail. I raised my head slowly expecting to see possibly a stick that might have been blown in from the storm. Instead I found a snake curled up in my soft, warm fur. I jumped from where I laid letting out a loud, sharp yelp. The snake flew off as I made my way outside bounding quickly, while watching the entrance. I stopped when a large, blunt object collided with me. Knocking me off my feet. "Owwie...What the..." I mentally slapped myself when I realized my new attacker was a large oak tree. Meanwhile the small garden snake slithered out of the hollow mumbling about me being such a rude wolf. I stood up watching the snake until it disappeared. Shaking off the dust that now clung to my fur, I was happy no one was around to witness my spaz attack.

@Xxaniraxx,
( No one else is active XD so I'm gonna try and rp with you)
I cocked my head to the side hearing something hit a hard tree. Odd...are squrrels throwing acorns again? Or one very large one the size of me...I thought. I ruffled my feathers and spread my wings. I started flying over the tops of the trees trying to find the source of the noise.

@Coradrawa,
(Oh well maybe they'll see it being bumped up and return?)
I trotted down a semi-clear forrest path hoping if I followed it long enough it might lead to a river or some source of water. I stopped as my ear twitched, focusing on the sounds around me I heard what seemed to be the flaps of wings. I sniffed the air but smelt nothing, everything was to fresh after the rain to get a differentiation on smells. Looking up I could see the sky clearly meaning the creature would be able to see me clearly. Just in case the creature was not friendly I unfurled my wings and began to stretch them, can't have stiff wings in the midst of a possible battle. A large bird? No, it was different than a bird, griffin maybe, had flown into my line of sight."That's what I heard, but will it land?" I thought this as I kept watching, a bit mesmerized by the grace in it's flight.

(Hiya~ Im joining again~!)
Having enough, Lunar walked outside of the cave for a little stroll in the woods. Quickly shapeshifting into one of her favorite forms, a monochrome griffin, she dashed off into the forest. She preferred to run, rather than flying, and if she wanted to fly, Wy'vern would of been her choice. Upon hearing a loud thwacking noise, she yelped herself, fluffed up her feathers, and cautiously approached the larger creature. "Uhm..." She began, not knowing what to say, her shyness taking over. "Hi... im Lunar" Her voice was just loud enough for the wolf to hear, Lunar made sure of that.

(See? If you post they will come. XP)
I jumped, not realizing someone had snuck up on me. Turning around there was yet another griffin. "Have I found my self in their territory?" I tilted my head at the shyness of the griffin. "Hello, I'm Anira and i'm truly sorry if I have intruded into your territory. I don't know this forrest, and there was this basilisk and dryad. Very scary." A lie about what sort of creatures attacked me, but it sounded better than a garden snake and normal everyday oak tree. Not sensing any threatening means from the griffin I folded my wings back at my sides and tilted my head. "Are you really a griffin?" I didn't know if that was rude to ask or not, but her scent seemed a bit off to me as well as the shy personality.

Seeing this wolf, she sensed some sort of, i dont know, calm aura coming off of her almost, so Lunar let her guard down. "Uhm. No. Im not. Im actually a Kitsune, see?" She morphed back into her maiden form, her tails swishing. "And, uhm, not to question you, but I dont smell any basilisk or dryad scent anywhere." She looked around, and tilted her head. "And, I know this forest quite well, im sure this isn't griffin territory because the Frost Dragons migrate through here every winter. Very scary sight. No one wants to live here then, or you'll get eaten!" She giggled at that, knowing that she could never get eaten! Well, most of the time. "So," She began, trying to start a conversation."Why are you here? Theres tons of corruption going on, its not really safe....." she trailed off, looking at the forest that was once hers to protect. "Oh lord, what have I done?"

@Kittencannons, @Coradrawa,
(Very well I shall ping)
I was amazed by Lunars power to shapeshift, It made me wonder what other creatures she could shapeshift into. "Ah *ahem* yes no.....scents... um maybe some sort of masking charm?" Nervously I laughed trying to seem convincing, but worried she would not buy into my story. "As for the corruption that's exactly why I'm here. I want to help, but i'm afraid I might need to find some sort of team to do any true good." I tilted my head at the kitsune, she seemed a bit worried. I looked in the direction she stared in not really knowing what she was looking at I decided to investigate upon the action. "Is something wrong?"

@Coradrawa, @Xxaniraxx,
Frowning, she said, "Yes, there is something wrong. Very wrong. You see, im the protector, or, semiprotecter. I have failed this forest. My forest." Sighing, she laid down, and looked up at her. "There is a group of animals sheltering in my cave. If you wish, I could take you to them, and you could join the team. I am currently on it, and so are various other animals."

@Kittencannonz,
(Should we like ping everyone who's in this rp?)
I nodded, imagining how she must feel. Something she had no control over was moving into her forest and destroying it. It reminded me a bit of my old pack and how I lost my parents. Only this wasn't one creature and wasn't just a singular group of victims. Honestly though I didn't think she failed as a guardian. "Things look bad, I'll give you that. However I don't think you've failed, as you mentioned you joined a group that's going to be working to end this corruption, yes? I believe that just means the battles begun and you won't take it lying down, correct?" I sat down and looked off towards the side a bit embarrassed by what I was about to ask next. "This group...none of them are...snakes? Right?..."
