Feeling as if I had shaken the power off of me, I swam back up to the surface. I saw some sort of tree monster digging his claws in a palm tree. But, even though I wanted to help him and any others there might be, I was still a multifarious, and that instinct told me to just watch.

Moon's ears twitched. "What's that?" She said, her curiousity getting the best of her. She followed the sound of the voice. "Hi!" She said and looked up at him.

Vermin suddenly laughed, and turned towards the beach, flicking a claw at it. The water closest to the sand instantly began to freeze.

As Vermin was laughing, Snowfire tossed a ball of golden magic at his feet, then yelled "EVERYBODY NEARBY, DUCK AND COVER!!!" as the ball exploded.

The voice made him jump slightly almost causing him to fall over. He turned his head some to look at the small animal beside him. "H-hello..." Jersey answered in the same gritting voice. By now he had calmed enough for the tree like armor on his legs to begin to fall off reviling his near human like skin to the cold air.

I ducked under the water, watching in horror as the water instantly froze. I slammed my fists against it, but winced. Why did it have to be so cold?!?

Vermin was thrown back by the explosion, stunned for a moment.
Snowfire immediately ran to the beach, away from the town.
"RUN!!!"

"Are you ok?" She asked.

Ako obeyed, getting on all fours to run

I saw the explosion of golden light from my icy trap. The water around me was thick with frost. I banged on the ice. I was so cold. I curled up, bobbing in the slush trying to conserve energy and heat. Stupid Vermin. He just froze over the whole beachfront. Welp. Eventually it would melt. Hopefully. Maybe.

Vermin roared and vanished, the cold slowly dwindling away, save for in the town.
