She still attempted to stay still. if she didn't attack it, she wasn't a threat. Although, she took a step back. if she ran, she'd be prey to chase, if she fought she'd be an enemy to kill. Staying still was the best option. Lulu attempted to make chirping sounds, friendly-ish ones.

Nothing worked, and it still attacked Lulu. perhaps picking up the "stones" provoked it? One thing is for sure, if you stay still, you would die. What do you do?

(I was torn between this and giving it the stones she'd found, but what if it didn't like stones? ;~;)

Oddly enough, it worked! the creature had no strength to lift itself with its 17 arms. You can now safely record the beast in the bestiary. It's a Heptadecapod!!!

Lulu tittered and waited for it to leave before trying anything. She also touched her shoulder gingerly, wondering if she could click it into place.
