"Sooo, We got a horse right there..." Josi said,"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" She walked over to Winter and pet her neck,"Where are we going to get horse bones? I mean, I'm pretty sure we aren't killing winter..."

Winter snorted in surprise when Josi touched her but then relaxed, twisting her neck and nibbling on her hair, snorting again.

Amber shook her head "I already have the bones. The elder who gave this to me gave me some from a sacrifice they made. And we can get the horse hair from Winter though. She's used to me trimming out hair. We have, I believe, everything but the metal... hmmmm..."

Josi pulled her hair out of Winter's mouth and walked to Amber,"I don't know where we can get the metal, maybe someone has a necklace or ring?" She looked towards the road, then at her back, checking to see if there was any gold or silver on or in it.

Winter proceeded to follow and continue nibbling on her hair.

Amber rummaged through her bag and truck before stopping "I might have some scrap silver in Winter's trailer... But we would just need gold and that is about it... I don't really want to go in without it, cause I would much rather respect the local's customs and traditions, rather then anger them..."

Josi stayed quiet, not knowing what to do, she didn't have any gold on her, or in her car. She lived 2 hours away, so she couldn't get in her truck and run home to get some gold. "Does anyone here have a gold ring or something?"

Amber grinned suddenly and walked inside of the horse trailer, digging through a few things and lugging out an old bridal decorated with gold and silver charms "I was gonna take this apart on our free time, maybe redecorate the bridal, use the metal to make some charms... And it has some of Winter's tail hair braided into parts of it, so that has three things covered... Once everyone is ready, I guess it is go time..."

(I actually have a bridal that I plan to redecorate, which is what gave me the idea here)

"Sounds great. Let's do this thing!" Josi said, pumped up for their little adventure. She stepped away from Winter and smoothed down her hair. She looked at Adam and Ripley,"Are you guys ready?"

Amber fed Winter a carrot before rummaging through her bag and grabbing a labeless white bottle, shaking out two small blue pills and taking them with a large gulp of water. After a moment she turned back to the group "Doublecheck equipment and supplies, make sure you have a bag full of extra batteries and flashlights, as well as extra filter masks."

Josi checked her bag, making sure she had many extra batteries and her flashlight. She checked for her filter mask and realized she forgot it in the tent. Josi ran back to her tent and stuffed it in her satchel then ran back out side,"Okay, now I'm good!"

Adam yelped in surprise, laughing as the horse was chewing on his hair.
"Well, with that settled, how about we go and do some exploring? And no venturing after dark. I am not going to upset anything ancient more than we have to."
Taking out his water bottle, Adam took a big gulp. Man... he never would bring animals on any of these types of digs but it was always nice to see them. Especially the wild ones.
