Sorry if you don't want this help, but I really want to say:
Don't be scared to use the advanced search! It's really super easy to use! It looks overwhelming, and I hated it for a long time. But it really does make your Sylestia life easier!
Make sure you have a pet in mind before you go there, otherwise you might get overwhelmed with all the options. (but really, all the options are there to help you, but only if you need them!). If you want to look for multiple pets, its best to just do each pet, one at a time.
Alright so lets start with a simple example. You can work through it yourself, and this will help you familiarise yourself with the search process.
So lets say you want to find the price of specific themed...lets say a Tyrielle's Minion Zolnixi... any TM zolnixi. This is just an example, you can use the same process for any themed. So this is all you need to do:
1) Go to the advanced search
2) click 'search pets'
3) IGNORE most of the form (pet name, Pet ID, username, genes and mutations, etc. You don't have to fill this information in. Just leave it blank. All this added stuff is just there to help you if you need a more specific search. For example if you want to look at a certain persons pets, or if you want to look for a certain pet with a specific trait)
4) all you're interested in right now is the species and the themed.
5) So go straight to the species tab, click and find Zolnixi, then go to the themed tab, and find the TM theme
6) Next you want to find ones that are for sale
7) click 'for sale' and select yes
8) finally you want to click 'order by', and then order by sale price. If you were looking for breeding pets, you'd order it by breeding price, etc. Selecting this option will place the cheapest pets at the front of the list
9) Select 'search' at the bottom (the blue button). A new window will appear that will be filled with TM nixies for sale.
Remember! To get the most out of the search, have a clear idea of what you want, then its a case of just looking at all the things and ignoring all the options you don't need/going straight to the options you do want.
The advanced search becomes extremely useful for looking up your own pets too. When you start getting hundreds, or even thousands of pets, you'll find that everything will just get lost in your stables. It's really good to have this system. |
