Naming Contest
3) Amelyn
I chose this name for several reasons. First, her tail reminds me of a waterfall. Lyn means waterfall. Second, I wanted to mention her purple coloration. Lilac perhaps? But since she was born in February I decided on Amethyst, the gem of the month. So I put them together to get Amelyn, which sounds pretty nice. Then I found out that Amelyn is an actual name coming from the names Ame and Lyn. We already know that Lyn means waterfall, but when I discovered that Ame meant eagle I knew the name was perfect! She has feathered wings!
