Oni slid to a stop sending rocks flying as it did. "Oni stop!" The boy yelled trying to calm the animal as it reared up kicking at the air.

Oakkiu called again. "Who. Goes. There?" He growled.

Skipper jumped from Oni's back petting the animal to calm it. "Please don't hurt us, we mean no harm."

"You are human?" Oakkiu cackled. "Right. Like a human would give me no harm."

The boy had a surprised look on his face. Harm them? Why would he want to do such a thing. They were monsters no? They were like Oni, misunderstood. "I'm far to small to be able to hurt you. I have no reason to either."

"You obviously weren't educated well. Years and years I've went, seeking revenge on behalf of the Fenrir. Don't think that I am going to kill you now, I can already sense your beast." Oakkiu growled, obviously unhappy.

What was the wolf asking? "My beast? You mean Oni? Yes he is here and no I didn't hurt him, I helped him." Skipper answered after all he was only ten years old and had spent most of his life with Oni. He had not known that monsters where dangerous, he had thought them all good. Oni still had his ears back in anger and his eye were still the green red color they changed when the animal was angry. His tail waved back and forth as he gazed at the wolf ready for it to attack if it would.

"I see. At least you named your beast of good. Unlike that spirit, of course." Oakkiu flicked his tail. "Now tell it to stop fearing me. I said I wouldn't kill you."
