Amber ran to the town with Light sitting in her hoodie like it usually did. she FINALLY arived to find a large croud of people.
"If I had of known there would be so many people I would have arrived early." she muttered. They all seemed to have one of the three Alolan starters with them. Rowlet, Puplio or Litten.
At first she didn't know what to pick however the finally decided to get Rowlet. She had thought about it long and hard last night, it was part of the reason she slept in.
She made her way entitivlly though the group. She stuck out a little with her golden eyes and pikachu hoodie. Her pichu the only thing normal about her really. Well normal for Alola at least.

I miss him She thought. Her brother was a scientist working in Unova, so he often was away from home. Despite their age difference, about 8 years, they got along well.
