Val'ren watched as the warm colors of day lightened the forest up. Her instincts started to put her on edge, and her humming slowly stopped. She felt the magic of the forest thrumming around her and became more uneasy. I belong in the sky, not the on the ground she thought as the pleasant light slowly changed to one full of the planets energy. Still not at ease she decided to proceed with caution. She ruffled her winds as her pupils shrank. She was on edge but not yet at the point of mindless attacking.

Val'ren became hyper aware of all the sounds in the forest, her energy starting build and crackle. She could her various things, but what made her uneasy was the absence of birdsong.
