She shakes her head " I think he is talking about another human is what it sounds like its not a animal tone... sounds... different" her ears twitched and rotated frantically as she analysed the conversation closely. " I wish I had a Chinese word bank right now, Know where to find one? " she asked not breaking her focus until the conversation was over.

Sam thought for a moment before smiling, "Back in the storage closet! There's bound to be one in there!"

She followed him back to the closet mumbling a few words under her breath

Pushing open the grate again, Sam leapt onto one of the lower shelves above them. Shuffling through a couple boxes, he found what he was looking for and tossed it down beside Katana. It was a Chinese-to-English dictionary.

"This is what you need, right?" he asked, curiously.

" Ah Yes! English is fine!" She said Flipping the book all the way to the X's. " Here he said this word, Xioch..... It means to eliminate or permanently remove" her face looked puzzled " Why would they want to eliminate Red food?" Katana asked tilting her head

"Food...food... don't humans spell that with two o's between an 'f' and a 'd'?" Sam asked, thinking hard.

A light bulb turned on in his head.

Murmuring to himself, he said to himself, "Chloe said something about the red-masked adolescent human, his name was Red Hood, wasn't it?"

"Katana!," he realized something, "What if they didn't say 'food'? Do ya think they might've said 'hood' instead?"

"Why the rush?" Ase asked catching up to the cat. Sure she didn't have front claws but humans climbed with their strange toes so she learned to as well. North may not have had the skill of flight but he was still a bird and could hold on to her fur as she ran. "This way." She yowled leaping down into an open dumpster before crawling out. The smell of metal and diesel filled the air, burning her nose. "Nasty humans..." The she cat growled.
"I don't smell anything...then again I'm a bird." North laughed. "I kinda like the humans, they have food when we don't. Some are nice, I like those the best."
"You stupid bird..."

She Nodded "It is possible, Who's Red Hood?"

"I said that I'd meet you there, didn't I? I have someone I need to meet first, Sweetcheeks!" Chloe yowled down to her and North, "You can find your way there just fine anyway. You don't need me to lead the way, do you? Surely your old enough to hold your own paws?"

Sam explained, "Red Hood's a human who leaves creme and dog food out for strays in the Ryker Heights Hoodlums territory. Chloe, a feline friend o' mine, said he's been missin' for a while now. Got his mate worryin' and everythin'. Anyway, because he's missin', Chloe's group is without a vital resource of food. It's even worse because her group's got the most mothers with kits and pups. It's very important that Red Hood is found, or the Hoodlums will have a very bad winter this coming cold season."
