"I haven't eaten any moss in weeks!" Sage snorted. "Just take that clump of moss back and own up to what you did." The moose stamped. Sure she was hungry but that was easily fixed.

"I didn't take moss from Unity. I only got in and played a prank on them, moving their moss around. I took some from around our territory. Do you really think I would sink low enough to steal from a group too weak to even stand?" She snorted.

"Yeah, you would." Jikal silently told the moose to go sit down,"You need your rest.." He whispered.

"Yeah, YOU sure would. I might as well go rogue with this group" she muttered. She finished up the moss, or what was left. She climbed up into her tree.
"Jack, she is IN the tree, out THIS INSTANCE!" Jac yelled, nothing more than chit chatter to other animals.
Initia looked down on a squirrel in the tree. She cocked her head at it, then bared her teeth.
Jack whimpered, but then climbed down, and his brothers and himself escaped into the bushes. Jac nipped Jack's ear and said "What did you think you were doing?!" Jack, the youngest by 1 day, being stuck when his mother was labored, whimpered "I'm sorry, there was an Acorn! An ACTUAL acorn!"
Initia spotted an acorn, perfectly brown and not rotted. She jumped to the branch next to it, and snagged it from the branch. Cracking it open a tad to peek inside, she was excited to see the nut inside in perfect condition. She climbed down, acorn in mouth.

"I'm fine Jikal..." Sage sighed settling down after a moment. "I just can't stand the way that fox lies through her teeth all the time. Since when do foxes eat moss?! Jikal..." The moose started. "I'm thinking of leaving the Swiftfoot. I think I would do better out on my own, after of course I go to Unity and apologize for the actions of some of our...insane clan mates. I was wondering if you would like to join me..."

The Swiftfoot leader padded out her den. She'd been disturbed by the sound of arguing. "What's wrong?" Wynde demanded, looking at Sage. "Initia stole something? Let me remind you, this wasn't the first time." The arctic wolf looked into the tree, where the grey fox currently was. "I shall contact the Unity leader and apologize." Wynde's gaze swung back to the moose. "If someone is going to leave the Swiftfoots, it would be the fox, not you. You haven't done anything wrong."

After checking in on Iktar, Dusk left the Medic den. He looked to fighter den, a hole dug into the ground in the early spring while the dirt was still soft, deciding to go out on a hunting trip now that enough people were up and about to watch the camp.
He stuck his head into the hole, and called out, "Anyone up for a hunt this morning? It's prime time for rabbits and squirrels."

Soul perched on a thin branch of a tree next to the large rock Dusk had been sitting on that morning. When the long cold had came, the trees had shrivelled up and now all was left was the spindly claw-like branches that would grab at anything that came near. Apart from them, there were the stubborn evergreens. With the cold coming in like this, even the evergreens seemed to be loosing their shine and they seemed to be shedding their leaves. Soul wondered how long everything else could survive, now that the world was much, much colder than the coldest arctic back when the humans were alive. Soul's forever sharp gaze wandered over the rocky clearing bordered by piles of boulders where she currently resided in. This place had been what humans called a zoo, and this was the desert habitat. How ironic, the hottest place now turned into the coldest place. Feeling random, Soul let out an ear-piercing screech, before leaping off the tree and gliding down to the middle of the clearing. "I'll go," she said to Dusk.

(Hmm, don't know how being in a zoo would work. I pictured everything around the border of Canada and the U.S. or somewhere in Russia or Europe.)
"Soul! Good morning! I trust you slept well?" Dusk greeted the large bird, pulling his head out of the Fighters' den.

((I've lived in Poland; they have zoos))
Soul swung her elegant head around to face the leader. She dipped her head in respect, "I did have a good sleep. Riiiiiiiiiggghhhtttt... The cold wind was certainly comfortable." Her voice dripped with sarcasm. The gyrfalcon puffed up her feathers. "We should go hunt, I need to warm up a bit." Soul's gaze scoured the landscape around her. Everything covered in a thin layer of frost. "How do we find anything in this sort of climate? The temperature continues to drop. The lower it is, then some prey can't survive anymore. We have to do something about the temperature, or the prey. We can't just go hungry." Soul launched in to the air, and with a couple of great wingstrokes she was floating high. "Come on! I'll be on the lookout, just follow me!" She yelled down to the leopard.
