(i just have to say:Snaketail is naturely sassy and snappy) Snaketail looked annoyed her amber gazed burning into Icefire from where she lay in her nest. "What you wait until today to realize I'm snappy?" she looked offended.

Icefire held in a giggle. She was obviously annoying Snaketail, and she now knew Snaketail liked Mothheart. So, Icefire decided to play with Snaketail's feelings a bit.
"Well," Icefire exaggerated a sigh, "Maybe if you weren't so sassy and snappy all the time, he'd maybe, just maybe, like you that one tiny bit." Icefire sank into her own nest, one or two away from Snaketail's and waited for her response.

Snaketail's claws unsheathed and dug into her nest she turned her head away her tail lashing.


Mothheart stared up at the moon hoping no one noticed his absence.

Icefire grinned inwardly. She was enjoying this. "Sassy, sassy attitude," Icefire said, sounding sad. "You should calm down... Speaking of Mothheart, where is he at this time, anyways?"

Snaketail snorted. "I don't know he always sneaks of to the marshy grounds. I mean it's where his scent goes."

"Oyy, how rude of you to say that in that tone!" Icefire teased. "Now, you have a nice rest and sleep. Imma go find Mothheart." Turning away, Icefire sniffed the air once and bounded off in the direction of Mothheart's scent.

Mothheart was in a clearing staring at the moon his tail trembling as he gazed at silver pelt.

"Hey, Mothheart," Icefire said softly as she sat down beside him. "Aren't you tired? Shouldn't you be sleeping now?"

Mothheart slowly ripped his gaze of silver pelt and stared at her with those sad green eyes. "I-I'm not tired..." he sounded hoarse as if someone ripped a hunk of soul outta him then fed it to his enemy. (mhhhm Moth has his own backstory that was actually roleplayed out in a different site) What he said next was more quieter. "I just "he stopped mid-conversation fallen asleep leaning on her.

"Okay...?" Icefire mumbled as Mothheart fell asleep on her. Gently, careful not to hurt him, Icefire eased Mothheart onto her back and padded back to the warriors den. Ice glanced at Snaketail, who was watching her and Mothheart, then Icefire padded to the back of the den and set Mothheart carefully down in his nest, before going back to her own nest.
