"I'm fine." Ase said wiping herself off. "But my tunic is ruined." She purred and hugged Anton. "I'm so glade you're safe. I couldn't have even began to kill that thing if it wasn't for you." The khajiit turned to the wandering man. "Who are you?"

"Oh where are my manners! Marcurio at your service, apprentice mage." The man said bowing a bit. "I must ask, how exactly did you two do this? I would love to write a song about this!"

Anton hugged Ase black, glad she hadn't been hurt. Then he too turned to face Marcurio. "Ah, hold on a sec. Let us make introductions first! I'm Anton," he said, holding out a hand to Marcurio. As an afterthought he asked Ase. "By any chance, do you still have my dagger?" he asked.

"Oops almost forgot!" Ase purred handing the knife back. "And I'm The Beggar Lady. I know strange name but I'm well known in these parts." Her tail flicked as she looked over the man. He was a human, though he didn't look like a Mage.

"It's splendid to meet the both of you." Marcurio said shaking both there hands. "Not to be rude or anything but are you just going to leave the dragon laying about? The bones and scales make for excellent magic potions."

"Thanks," Anton said, sheathing the dagger. "You do have a point. Although there's no way we can carry all these scales and bones. Wanna take some yourself?" he asked Marcurio, gesturing towards the dragon. He gripped his left hand with his right one. "Should of just cut the whole thing off," he muttered with annoyance, as he turned towards the dragon. "Well now I can check killing a dragon off my bucket list," he said cheerfully, walking over to the corpse.

Ase put a steady hand on his shoulder. "Just give it time, it can still heal." She said hopefully. "I'm sure of it." Even though they were just friends, and now travel partners they seemed to be more like...siblings if that was even possible.

"Splendid!" Marcurio said clapping his hands together. As he neared the corpse though the whole thing seemed to sort of turn to ash and melt away. "Typical! The first dragon you find and what happens? It leaves nothing behind save for a few toes and scales, maybe a few teeth. Now no one will believe me when I tell them I saw one in real life."

Anton scoffed slightly. "Nah, it's beyond repair. But don't worry, apparently I can still kick a dragon's butt!" he said, smiling at Ase with forced cheerfulness. He didn't want her to worry on his behalf. He wasn't normally one to feel sorry for himself, but he had felt rather useless fighting the dragon. "Although, I have a request," he said to Ase.

"And what is it my friend?" Ase asked. What possibly could he want from her? Her heart felt heavy all of a sudden. What if he was leaving her? It didn't matter if he thought he hadn't help with the dragon, with out him she would have ran, or died trying to fight alone.

Anton turned to look Ase in the eye. "You gotta fight me! I'm not used to fighting one-handed, but I'm going to learn so you don't have to go fighting dragons on your own!" he proclaimed, grinning at her. He realized that it was pretty stupid of him for not telling her earlier. He should have mentioned he couldn't fight well earlier.

She let out a laugh. "Is that all? I thought you were leaving me! Of course I will help you fight, though I'm not sure if I'm any better than you." Ase smiled. "We will start tonight after we tell the dragon story to Marcurio."

The man letter his head from the pile of ashes. "I could perhaps help in this training, I know a thing or two about using one hand to fight. But I have never fought a dragon."

"Thank you both," Anton said gratefully, and then a look of confusion crossing his face. "Wait, what? Why'd you think I was leaving you, yee of little faith?" he asked, shaking his head in mock disappointment.
