Can I join? Starter, Treecko if I can. (Can I pretend that it's shiny? I recently got a shiny one IRL, you don't have to do anything special.)

Yes, you did. Since it was impossible for you to lose anyways, I'm not gonna ask if you were sure. You have beaten the gym, and have unlocked your Rock Badge. You now have a choice of two Pokemon when hunting.
