The group lowered their weapons at the sight of the gun. The looks on their faces showed that they had seen a gun before, but not in the condition that the one aimed at them had. The man who had shouted at the one Pax had walked behind spoke this time, "Well, anyone left in this area know that the building sometimes spits out people. Sometimes, they're clean looking like you, sometimes they look like us, and sometimes they look even worse. We're normally told to avoid them, as there's rumors of them being ghosts, demons, or the people who caused the Earth to become this way, but there's always a group like us on the lookout for people like you." The man paused a bit to allow Pax to take in what he had told him, then continued, "As for what happened here, as far as we know, there was a war that wiped out most of the planet's population. You're in what's normally called as the 'Emptyness', which is inhabited by only a few 'tribes' of people hoping to start a new life. Most people stick to the cities that can be found on the coastlines. I've never seen one myself, but I know they're there."

Pax would sigh, lowering the gun. "I see. I'm sorry for threatening you." Pax would look at the group while putting away the pistol. "In our world, we went to check out this building that was rumored to be haunted, then it just whisked us here." Pax would also look down, then back up. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience for you guys, i didn't know the situation, everything was just really sudden."

"Well, minus the first lie you told out of defense, you seem honest enough," the group relaxed, "We know by now that not all of the people coming out of here are threats, but we still are cautious." He paused, "Though, we can't take you to the others. Regardless on what we tell them, they'll try and kill you on sight, and I don't want to lose anymore of what's left of the human race here." The teenage boy seemed to reflect what the man was telling Pax, still some signs of fear in his eyes. It was clear he hadn't witnessed anything like this like the other two, and he was still clenching his spear as if waiting for the stranger in front of him to become violent.

Pax would nod his head, understanding what they were standing. "I figured as much, trust runs out fast." He'd look at the group, then smile a little. "Thank you for telling me that, best of luck on surviving, I highly doubt you will want to come with us."

The two men nodded their heads in approval, while the young teenage boy kept staring at Pax. He eventually tugged on the older of the two, whispering something to him. The two of them kept muttering for a few more seconds before he looked back at Pax, "It appears that while we may not want to go, Alexander is curious to see what it was like where you came from. He's still young, and if there's more places like where you came from, I'm sure he'd live a fuller life around there instead of being stuck here." Alex stood in front of the man, waiting anxiously for Pax's response.

(Not sure how predictable this was, but I'm horrible at writing this sort of thing.)

Pax looked down at the teenager, smiling a bit. "I'll be glad to, as long as he doesn't get into trouble." He'd then look back at the men, nodding his head. "Well, I must be going soon, before that "Place." leaves us here."

The older man nodded, "He shouldn't as long as you tell him what to do and what not to do." The teenager's eyes lit up with joy as he learned that he had been accepted, and while there was already signs that he was going to miss his home, there was also the look of someone ready to see what Pax had seen.

Pax would sigh a little, indicating that he was a little tired. "That's good, but I will warn you. We just got here and this our first time in that "Place." so we don't even know if we can get out of here." He'd then turn around, gesturing for Alexander to follow him.

Appearance:
Underneath the dirt and grass stains, Alexander is a fairly tan teenager with plenty of muscle for someone who looks skinny. He has roughly cut, short brown hair that's oily due to not being able to wash it properly. His current clothes are caked in various stains, and worn, riddled with small holes in various places. His body has various small scars from surviving on the Earth he originates from, though from what he doesn't really keep track of. He has light brown eyes, often filled with curiosity when he doesn't feel like he's in danger.

Personality:
Alexander is cautious, always alert as if expecting someone to appear from nowhere to attack him. However, he's also curious to learn new things, especially when it comes to learning the history of the world around him, from how certain hybrid animals came to exist to the various histories of various Earths. As he hasn't been fully trained by the adults of his Earth, he isn't as trusting of others, and it usually takes the approval of another in his group in order for him to put trust in another person.

Skills: Alexander knows how to survive on his own with little supplies. He can hunt, make traps, start fires, as well as many other survival techniques. He can use anything as a melee weapon, though he lacks even knowledge on firearms, other than that if they look usable, they're dangerous.

Items: He carries around a backpack of supplies, which holds kindling, food, a canteen of water, a couple changes of clothes, a knapsack, and a couple of dull knives for various purposes. He also carries a spear for defense.

History: (Not really needed)

Other: It will take Alexander to grasp the concept of some more advanced technologies. The most advanced things he's seen are lightbulbs from still functioning bunkers.
