Sandy was startled when Star hugged her and she sort of froze for a moment. Then Amber started talking. "I'm Sandy and this is Peach." She gestured to the Zolnixi sitting by her. "I guess we should follow her?" She looked in Star's direction. "Come on." She motioned to Peach, who stood and stretched. She started to follow Star. 'This will be interesting. A treasure in the mountains. Sounds like I'm going on an adventure.' She smiled a little.

( Why thank you Amber 83 I like everyone's characters! >w</ )

"Woopeeeeeeeeee!" Star shouted in enthusiasm as she bounced around, her pink hair flying about with her lupora right behind her. "You're it, Mangoooooo!" She echoed, her voice trailing as she finished each sentence. Friends! Exploring! An EXPEDITION! (Expedition: A journey or adventure c

Mango, the lupora, sighed. Why did she have to apologize for her owner's stupid actions?! She followed Star, jumping along with the pink haired girl. She went beside her owner, and continued until they passed a bread stall. Star looked behind and saw everyone not too far behind. It wouldn't hurt to quickly buy some snacks...right?! Mango could see the look on her owner's face. Ugh...Not another snack stall time! Star would always spoil her lupora with snacks, and ate the leftovers if Mango couldn't finish.

"Mhmm...2 swirly breads please!" Star said, pointing at the beautiful, and complicated swirly breads. "To go!" She added with a grin. The owner, an elderly woman, smiled and pulled out a brown bag and put the order in there. "Thanks!" Star said with a smile, taking the bag from the woman and payed her $5. The woman was confused. The bread cost $1.50 each. Did the pink haired girl give an extra 2 dollars to her as tip...? Nah, Star was just too stupid at math, and so she gave her a $5 bill. The sign even read $1.50 each!

Mango was flabbergasted at her owner's stupid mistake. She nudged at Star, and pointed to the sign. "$1.50 each? Uhm, ehm...then that is...." She began to count her fingers, but the elderly woman suddenly answered for her. "It's actually only $3.00 only, honey. No tax, so take the change back?" She handed star a toonie and a loonie, but she was rejected as Star said something. "Nah, you keep the change! I don't want to be carrying all that heavy bills in my wallet all day!" And she left the woman, with her bread in the bag. (NOT trying to make Star a cool person ;m; I'm trying to make her seem so stoooopid XD)

Once arriving at her own house, Star looked around. Oh right! Her pa and ma lived in the next street in their own house! Silly her! But...there was still Grandma and Grandpa in her house! "GRAAAAAAMMAAAAA! GRRRAAAAAAAPAAAA!" She shouted as her voice echoed throughout the house.

"Oh, Star! Home already?" An elderly woman said, appearing out the kitchen. "Grandpa is asleep in his room upstairs. Try to be quiet!" She scolded Star. The woman looked behind Star, as she welcomed Mango home. "Are they friends of yours, Star?"

(Star says she's worried about carrying bills; but aren't loonies coins? Also, sorry guys. I wanted to let everyone else post first. And then I worked today.)

"geeyah!" Gasped Cranberry as the map was pulled from her hands, horrified that someone else would dare touch the ancient artifact. Her mind froze, horrified that her new friend would steal the map; had she misjudged the Zolnixi girl? But before she could respond, she found herself being hugged, which only confused her further and she blinked as Star ran away, shocked that someone had touched her. It hadn't been bad, it was just that dark fairies generally didn't get random hugs. It just wasn't done. She reached out after Star, who bolted away towards her home.

"She... took... the... map...?"

Was all Cranberry could muster out. There could be no adventure without that; but maybe Star would actually return? With the map? A flicker of hope flared in her belly and she swallowed hard. She was glad Amber wanted to come; and she nodded. She nodded again, to Sandy, who recovered from the surprise of a hug better than she had; and gathered her satchel and the map's box. "Yes; yes. Let's follow!" She looked back to the vulnyx girl. "Are you coming?"

The fairy found herself hoping that she would. But then she hurried after Star, two of her vulnyxes trotting at her heels. The third was chasing his tail, and then bolted after them as they disappeared around the corner. And in a moment, they were in Star's home. Suddenly, Cranberry felt guilty for thinking that Star would steal the map. Her cheeks darkened in embarassment. She silently vowed to be more trusting of all of them. But still, she shouldn't have grabbed such an old map! What if it had crumbled or something?

"I.. er. Well..." Were they friends? She felt shy, suddenly. "Yes, I think?" Her wings gave a series of short twitches; her emotions once again expressing better through her wings than her face. "We are going to go on an adventure together. A quest. To find treasures." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I've got a map. Well, Star has it." She gestured towards the brightly colored girl. "She took it, so he might read it. But, you know... if he's asleep, I think we can get it. I mean, we have most of it translated, just a few words that I dont know." She tried to explain it to Star's grandmother, but she felt suddenly very foolish, as if she weren't explaining things well at all.

"I see! Treasure! Well, I apologize if Star is...a bit energetic, she's full of energy sometimes..." Her grandmother said, and shooed them up to the old man's room.

(( Star LOVES coins...bills are pieces of paper OuO Differences for star XD))

Running up the stairs, she ran into her grandpa's room and jumped on him, whom was sleeping on his bed. He awoke with a great big moan. XD

Sandy stepped carefully into the house and into the man's room. "Are you sure it's alright if we come in like this?" She stayed by the door and looked around. "Star you should be careful you could hurt someone like that." She looked a little worried at the old man who had just awoken.

"Get off me, Star, you little whipper snapper!" The old man said, as he threw star onto the floor. He was quite muscular, had had great force.

"Your friends here?" He asked, tilting his head like this had never happened before.

Amber had follow the group in silence. Her sylestied doing the same. Nameless did not look happy about the fact they where going on a group journey. He always prefered just Amber and her sylesties. If he wanted to stay with Amber he did not have much of a choice though. Black on the other hand was happy with this turn of events. His owner and friend rarely traveld with other people. She had some friends looking after her sylesties while she was gone, but besides that she was too much of a loner. Black hoped Amber would got more friends this way, it would be good for her.

Balerion was watching everything from the sky. He was very annoyed with the fact that his 'owner' just followed a pink dot somewhere. He hoped Amber would turn around and leave those people behind. If not, well he sure as hell would not help/protect or save any of them. Amber was his only human. The rest he couldn't care less about.

He stayed high in the sky flying circels around the place Amber entered. There where a bunch of sylesties there. Oh how he would love to eat them...But Amber would not allow it.

Meanwhile Amber just smiled politly at the elderly lady. When everybody else was already upstairs she was still downstairs with her Lupora and Zolnixi, not wanting to crowd the older man. Her Lupora was big for a lupora and he had big wings, so he would take up a lot of space anyway.

'I hope we are not intruding ma'am . Thank you for letting us into your home.' Amber told the lady while trying to hide as much of her big sword as possible. Not wanting to make the lady feel uncomfortable around her.

Cranberry allowed herself to be shooed up to the older man's room; he looked to be about as old as Cranberry's own Great-Gran'ther. Only, a lot physically stronger. Mentally, Cranberry was sure her Gran'ther could give this guy a run for his money though; he had more magic in his thumbnail than most people had in their whole bodies. Not that he used it for much anymore, other than keeping his ancient undead morkko around. Cranberry hated the thing; undead things were just gross, in her opinion.

She waved to Star's granfather as he asked if her friends were here. "Yes. Er. Star's got my map. She thought you might be able to read it. I got most of it; but there's something that looks like a warning down in the corner that I don't understand. Some of it, but there's words that I don't know. Star thought you might know, Sir."

She shifted her weight, feeling terribly awkward. Her mother's words about dark fairies not mixing well with other races seemed to whisper in her mind; but she didn't seem any more out of place than say, Amber did. Mandy and Kinuna seemed to think this was all very strange as well, and so Cranberry felt just a little bit better. Or maybe she just thought they felt that way; but they looked as if they felt as awkward as she did.

"If you do know, we might be able to prepare better for anything, no unexpected surprises." The thought struck her suddenly that was what the warning said; to be prepared for unexpected surprises. Wouldn't that just serve them all right?
