River smiled. She laughed a little at his joke. "Not all Americans are into horror you know." she said with a smile. She'd only ever seen two of them. Tensing up when the bird poked its head out and made a shrill shriek. Her ears flattened against her head a bit with fear. "He doesn't bite, does he? or claw?" she said nervously. Her eyes shifting to the bird and back to Alastair.

Myra watched as he left. Her hand gently stroked his tail when he sat down. "You can feel everything in your tail?" she asked softly. Her hand still gently playing with the tail.

"No he's a good bird." Alastair said holding out his hand so that Ren could hop out onto his arm. "Helper part of his wing when he was little, I found him on the porch one day when I came home from school. We became fast friends. I help him and in return he helps me in little ways. He can't fly, yet it doesn't seem to bother him. Go on Ren give her a welcome." Ren cocked his head to the side and and hopped onto River's shoulder, before rubbing his face on hers.

Jenny: "She will, but not in the way you think!" The girl she was pointing to had little sheep horns protruding from her pink hair, and her red and white dragon behind her. "I have never met a friendlier girl than that one over there. Her name is Franz, and she's part sheep. Her dragon, Merlin, is surprisingly gentle, and I think he would make a good friend for Molly."

River smiled. she watched as he came out onto his arm. "He's beautiful." she said softly. She froze, holding completely still when he jumped on her. Her cheeks turning a deep red when he rubbed his face on hers, making her giggle a little. "Can i pet him or does he not like that?" she asked curiously. Holding her hand close to him, hoping she wouldn't scare him. "You said we. Did you mean you live with him?" she asked. Wondering if he lived with someone else.

"Oh." Martin said eyeing the dragon. "I've never seen a dragon before." He hugged Molky closer a bit scared. "Are they as bad as people say they are?"

"You can pet him." Alastair smiled. "He won't mind. And yes he lives with me, I guess we have just been together so long that I think of us as we. Sorry for the confusion."

Jenny: "Most are worse than we can imagine, but Merlin...Franz raised him from the egg. All he wants to do is help her, so he isn't threatening to anyone with god intentions." Jenny gave Martin a wink. "However, I wouldn't suggest trying to sneak up on her or attacking her. Merlin will tap your shoulder in warning before he attacks, though." She takes a moment to collect her thoughts, then continues talking. "Why is it that you always cry when writing letters, Martin?"

River smiled even more. Slowly running her fingers over Ren's feathers. She couldn't believe how soft he was. "Oh. That' okay. So you don't live with anyone else..." she said hesitantly. She hoped she hadn't made him upset by asking that. She frowned a little. Shaking her head.

"I guess it's just the thought of my mum back home...but I really don't know why I cry so much." Martin admitted. "Molly gets sad too." He said hugging the sheets neck.

"Nope we lived in our own in town until now." Alastair smiled. "Ren liked living in town, he liked to see all the pigeons. But I guess bow he will just have to watch the dragons fly about."
